sometimes i like to think about another potential ghostbusters movie, they've discussed doing one based on the mini pufts but i've been looking into the scrapped ghostbusters III Ghostbusters: Hellbent.
THIS MOVIE.
The ideas and key themes are so fricking cool, it's actually awesome and it would be amazing to see with modern day cgi. It would make an INCREDIBLE film. I think that it would be a great final film for the franchise and honestly a good way to kill off characters.
Bill murray said himself when the movie was first in discussion that he'd want his character to be killed off in the first two minutes. Stating he'd love to turn the tables and be the ghost for once.
That leans into the key theme of hell not being a different realm entirely but being right next door. I'd love to see the ghostbusters exploring a hell dimension full of villians they've faced before (perhaps melody too).

Summary: You go to the drive-in with Ray and things get a little heated.
// Pairing: Ray Stantz x Reader
// Warnings: Biting, semi-public making out, allusions to smut!
// A/N: 18+ ONLY! All characters are over 18 :) The urge to name this piece “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives” was SO STRONG, but it wouldn’t have made sense lol.
It was the summer after you and Ray’s senior year of high school, you’d been together for 3 years.
You were both gearing up to move in together and start your undergraduate degrees at Columbia in a few months!
Your parents had been kind of hounding you about not getting out of the house more lately.
“Honey, we just think you should be out enjoying your youth!” “Yes, dear, especially since you and Ray will be so busy starting in the fall!
So, Ray’s suggested solution was to go to the drive-in instead of having one of your usual at-home dates.
The two of you packed up in the beat up pickup he got from his dad, armed with a blanket and a bunch of snacks you got at the town general store.
When you got to the drive-in, it was kind of packed. So, the two of you parked closer to the back where the cars were more spaced out.
You immediately get comfy, toeing off your sneakers and scooting across the bench-style front seat to tuck yourself into this side.
In return, he puts his arm around your shoulder to pull you closer.
When the title-card of the movie flashes on the screen, you groan to yourself.
Ugh, a rerun. And not a good one at that.
You really should have looked at the board coming in to see what was playing before you paid to get in.
You preoccupied yourself with snacks for the first thirty minutes.
You’d toss a peanut M&M in your mouth and see if you could eat the chocolate coating without cracking the peanut in the middle.
You’d also turn to Ray every once in a while to offer him whatever candy it was that you were eating.
He liked when you fed him little bits of snacks. He wasn’t sure why, but it felt very domestic to him.
Ray could see the look on your face. You were bored out of your mind.
He couldn’t blame you, honestly, he wasn’t a fan of what was playing either.
You looked so sweet, though, he thought. Even when you were cringing at the film’s awful script-writing and overt use of cliches.
He didn’t realize the fact he’d been staring, a warmth simmering deep in his chest, until he realized your tongue was running across the tips of your fingers.
You’d gotten melted chocolate all over them from the chocolate cookie dough pieces you were eating.
Ray couldn’t help himself. You looked so beautiful.
He bent to the crook of your neck, pressing a feather-light kiss to the hollow of your throat.
But one turned to two which turned to three.
“Ray, baby, what are you doing,” you giggled. Each kiss sent lightning down your spine.
You weren’t about to stop him, you loved it.
It was dark and this movie was boring and he smelled so good.
“You know what,” he smiled against your neck. He knew you weren’t naïve and that you would know what was up almost instantly.
And indeed did you know.
You fold the lid up on the candy and set it on the dash in front of you to get it out of the way, making room for anything that may happen.
Your fingers intertwine into his brown locks and you hear a muffled sigh when you give the smallest of tugs.
Honestly, it’s maybe about five minutes later that you end up in his lap.
Your chest is pressed tight to his in an effort to avoid accidentally hitting the car horn and drawing attention to the two of you.
Though it was dark, and there was the hint of a thrill at the possibility of being caught, you didn’t want to tempt fate.
Ray can’t get enough of you. The taste of chocolate lingering on your tongue, the way you’re whimpering praises as you roll your body against his.
You were breathtaking.
The two of you grew more wanting for each other with every kiss you shared.
“Are your parents home,” you asked against his lips.
He didn’t even part from you, he just make some “mm-mnh” noise to tell you they weren’t.
“Wanna get out of here, then?”
He nods and you immediately clamber off of him so he can drive you two back to his house.
You wanted as much time to yourselves as possible before his parents got home, you know?

I saw the new Ghostbusters movie and I gotta say, I didn't hate it.
It wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting it to be. There were some major faults, but no dealbreakers for me. I really liked the kids, I liked Paul Rudd, I hated the mom, I didn't like that they brought back Gozer or that they disposed of her so easily, I thought CGI ghost Egon was unnecessary when incorporeal lamp-turning Egon did the job well enough. The references and callbacks were distracting, but harmless. Ray and Winston were believable, but I really doubt Venkman would choose to follow them a thousand miles to Podunk, Oklahoma for any other reason than the producers wanted to have all four original Ghostbusters stand together at the climax. I get it, Bill Murray wanted an easy paycheck, and it would've been weird to have Ray and Winston and CGI Egon but not Venkman, but still. Also, Evo Shandor was pointless, and it feels like they filmed a lot more with him that got cut (JK Simmons makes a 30 second cameo, first as a corpse, then as Rich Uncle Pennybags who dies again instantly). The black girl had nothing to do, drove away from the rest of the kids, then appeared at their house to fire a proton pack at Gozer before turning into Zuul; that felt like a reshoot. There's no reason the mom couldn't have stayed as Zuul, it was weird to make he girl Zuul apropos of nothing. She needed more to do in the climax, maybe let her be the one who powers the dirt farm traps instead of Finn Wolfhard (I cannot remember his characters name for the life of me; Tyler? Taylor? Trevor? Something like that)
I'd give it 75%, a solid C, average, could show improvement, but it passes. Sony didn't fail miserably this time! The bar is so low...
Look what arrived today!! the Ghostbusters Ultimate Collection!!
😃😃😃
As soon as I heard about this being released I went to look for
for the pre-order cause I wanted one! I was told that it was
going to be sold at Wal-Mart com so I didn’t know if it was
exclusive to there I looked on Wal-Mart ca but I can never
really find anything on that 😒
so I went over to Amazon ca and they had it but it was
SOLD OUT! 😨
So I quickly went over to BestBuy ca and they had it for
pre-order😌 so it arrived today!
The outer box once you slide off the plastic slip case
looks like the classic Ghost trap
once you open it everything is laid out nice and neat for you
the 3 movies the 2 disks of special features and the “Making of”
book and the digital codes are there as well.
When you take everything out of the box it trips a lil sensor
and turns on these green lights in the bottom of the box that
gives it this spooky green glow lol
here is the first shot of everything that was inside
here is the second shot of everything that was inside
I took the first 2 movies out of there slip cases and flipped them
over so show the art on the back. On the back of Ghostbusters
you have Gozer and on the back of Ghostbusters 2 you have
the painting of Vigo. plus the 2 bonus disks.
Now before the box set arrived I didn’t know how it was going
to be set up so I wanted to pick up a standalone copy
of Ghostbusters Afterlife. So I grabbed this copy when we
were out Tuesday night. So we have one one in the box
and one standalone copy lol.
