1. Standing

- helps be aware of surroundings

- a slightly more vulnerable pose perhaps relaxed or trying to intimidate?

- Trying to see something or reach something(like treats)

2. Eye licking

- grooming seems important to Patty she does it often

- stress reliever maybe?

- eyes don’t self clean(tears) and don’t have eye lashes to protect

3. Open mouth

- intimidation tactic?

- hungry?

- does it even know? Smol brain?

Temperment

1. Hiss no bite

- Any sign of danger it hisses and stands

- if danger approaches Patty flees and hides

- hissing is like a cicada scream

2. Gluttonous beast

- loves treats and will work for them

- tries to steal treats

- treats = good mood

3. Light sensitive

- prefers shady and darks spaces

- pupils don’t adjust for light levels well, needs slow exposure or becomes agitated

- What I used to call: “bad vibes,” “haunted,” “the emo detector”

- What it actually is: A raw, negative emotion-fueled energy that creates the magic used to fight, and what curses are literally made from.

- Apparently, everyone has cursed energy. Even me. But superheros can control it!!!

- superhero’s don’t leak negative emotions so they can’t make curses it’s us normies that do… we’re taking that L hard.

Cool Fact:

Negative emotions leak constantly from non-sorcerers, which is basically like wearing a neon “EAT ME” sign to curses.

So. That’s why I keep getting chased. Awesome.

REAL TERM: Cursed Techniques

- What I used to call: “curse powers,” “magic,” “ghost kamehamehas.”

- These are personalized abilities that superhero’s develop, kind of like superpowers—but think oh MHA quirks. It can be passed on in families and mutate!!!

Examples I’ve witnessed:

- Someone turned their own blood into exploding needles (10/10 not okay).

- Okami’s dog summoning and frogs(new discovery(also the book says this is a clan technique called “ten shadows technique”))

Apparently, no two techniques are the same. It’s like a signature—but if your signature could punch a car. So you could have the same name as someone but your names will punch cars differently? Like fonts? Like comic sans vs papyrus. Nyehehehe

Here’s something wild.

After a bug like curse was exorcised (by the wolf summoner hero who I’m calling “Okami”), I stayed behind to document the area. I detected lingering energy signatures that felt like the bug’s energy and Okami’s! Pretty sure the dead curse should just dissipate but it didn’t!

It was like… leftover thoughts. Like if a curse dies, part of it echoes back into the environment. Almost like it’s trying to respawn or leave behind emotional DNA. I’ve nicknamed this phenomenon “Death Stains.”

Not sure if it means curses can be reborn (like darksouls player?) or if they can contaminate specific areas permanently. Either way, I’m going back to that alley tomorrow. (Yes, I’m taking bug spray.)

Conclusion: I think curses are learning.

This isn’t just instinct anymore.

There’s evidence they share information—maybe subconsciously—or evolve in clusters. Some are even mimicking humans in terrifyingly accurate ways.

And if that’s true… then maybe they aren’t just monsters born from us.

Maybe they’re trying to become us.
