I know the Jets and their coach can get the best out of players, but the signing of Maybin right after they released Vernon Gholston does not make too much sense since they are the same athletic type, hybrid 3-4 LB.  Maybin was a "project" player with the Bills, while Gholston an upside, project player for the Jets. We will see what they see what they can do with the former first round bust.

The great Jets sack master pissed off alot of opponents with his post sack antics. He also caused havoc in his hey day rushing the passer. Here he sacks Oakland's Jim Plunkett during the Jets 17-14 playoff win that sent the Jets to their unforgettable destiny's end in muddy Miami a week later. 

The Jets of 2011 need a pass rusher. This draft is crucial. Especially with the reality of the release of Vernon Gholston who, had he been the player the Jets thought he'd be, might have left the Jets with the 31st or 32nd pick during one of these past two seasons.
