Designating soul types for the eternals is actually the thing I've been struggling with the most when it comes to aeternalis, for years. Because it at the same time does not matter because it's just an designator of hypostatic resonance, and simultaneously it changes everything BECAUSE it's a designator of hypostatic resonance
It doesn't matter because there's no biodeterministic consequences to a person's soul type, it's not an indicator of personality, or fate in life, or any other sort of predetermination. Any type of person can have any soul type
And it does matter because a person has by default an easier time resonating with and wielding energy of the same type as their soul, whereas other types have to be learned with varying degrees of difficulty. And that still significantly affects the character, thematically
