Kitacon 2016 - Kitacon Karnival Part 2 of 2

Sunday Having woke to find I somehow managed not to smeer makeup everywhere during the night (yup forgot to whipe the makeup off) I got ready for the day (in the now refreshed fox suit and the thin trousers - different t-shirt yet again yay for fabreeze) but got rid of the goatie & moustache and added cat whiskers and alittle black nose instead. We headed off for the merch hall and then quickly to the pannels that were being run by Mr B the Gentleman Rhymer - were we ended up all trying to follow his footsteps as he taught the 5 steps of Chap hop. I can shuffle sideways - but no where nearly as awesome as he displayed. After the pannel I grabbed some yummy malyasian food from the food carts which I ended up finishing off in the next pannel with Mr B.  Inlight of the previous Kita when they smushed a pannel and their dinner into one ( Between Mr B and Proffessor Elemental) they decided to do it again whith Mr B and one of the Kita staff (The one with the best moustache) where many things got discussed. Once the pannel had ended it was off to the merch hall for one last sweep and then to the gaming room where the typing of the dead was yet again played then we all scattered about trying different games - I got annoyed with a shooter game and spent afair bit of time watching cosguk playing  crash bandicoot. Eventually we went to the room to chill for a while nomming more instant noodle pots and drinking Aka Miso soup :3

We headed back down to rave to Mr B as DJ with his Acid Ragtime Set - a mix of some of his and other mixtures in his  whist trying out some of the chap hop moves :D which was cool I was ofcourse quite warm and sweaty in the fox again but I kept drink lots of water so I kind remained at a good warm neutral than the baking hot of the night previous. When Mr B's set came to an end GG & I went back to the room to pre-pack everything to leave in the morning - just leaving out clothes (I had transformed into pj person after a shower)  and the bits required in the morning. GG had crashed and I was up crotcheting while I was waiting for cosguk to return (which they did about 1sh)... I will put up a pic of when I have finished it.

Monday Got up and continued to crochet simply as I woke way early I eventually got washed and dressed and went about tracking down the last few things and finished packing with GG while cosguk kept dozing - eventually we were all up and once everyone was ready and packed we took our stuff down to the lounge/bar zone to grab some food from there (food was definatly required) I continued to crochet until we began to gather all our bits and bobs and the many cases (omg I am so glad I threw in the extra shopping/ laundry bag) and headed off for the train station going through the NEC.  We met up with some of our mates and chilled to train time then after a dash up the platform (we had got to the platform so lesurely that we didn't know where our carrage was ment to be) to our carrage and got on.  After a fairly quiet train ride back (with the exception of the announcer telling use if we looked out of the leftside we could see the M1 and the scuffling statics afterwards for abit  the then nervous voice asking if it was safe to talk now? and the quick we are shutting the shop down now) We made it to London Euston where we found out form a fellow Kitacon goer that Kita may be changing venues and re-met the crew who ended up in different charrages before we all disperesed to our various homes - another hour or two later  - traveling across London to my home.

Kitacon 2016 - Kitacon Karnival Part 1 of 2

Friday Myself and GGcosplay and Cosguk got to the con location collected our wristbands and namebadges , got to chill and watch the people who were already in cosplay going about and despite set backs eventually got a room where GG & I got to work finishing off GG's cape, whilest cosguk vanished for a while as undertaker from kuroshitsuji. We had some fun after it was finished by visiting the gaming room and taking a walk about :3 kinda came away with afew keyrings from there too.

Saturday We got up and ate some ok instant noodles. We got ready and dressed into our various outfits - myself as Valka in her mysterious Dragonrider form and GG as Stoic. We enjoyed visiting the merch hall were I gained a cute flooffy calico cat plush and a keyring for my sis (and two cans of pocari sweat) and the american regon of the entire series of Gundam Wing which according to the merchant who sold it to me would play on my pc with this free download player.  There were so many good cosplays out there it made it hard to work out whom to photo. (Curse my memory but i think this was the day cosguk was Copain from the hunchback of notredam)

The gaming room was visited yet again I found out that playing bongos with clawed gauntlets wasn't easy and played the typing of the dead - suprizingly different and was alot of fun. Had a mini photo shoot with GG - I admit it I missed having props (I am to used to using props to pose with). Eventually GG & I got out of our current outfits (I thought I was hot inside the armour GG was soaked from the layers and furr). GG decided to play about with the face paints and makeup for a while.  I decided to switch to my lightest  t-shirt and trousers and popped on my fox onesie / kigurumi. But I didn't stop there I had used some makeup and a wig with platted ponytail... add to that my headphones (the ones I use for listening to music with - not gaming) I somehow evolved into a terrible incarnation of Lyinginbedmon.  I spent some time in the evening gaming mostly pocky and rocky on the snes. When they closed the games room for the night I somehow joined Cosguk in the Rock rave that was going on. Much time later we headed for the room and as I got changed I thanked the heavens for fabreeze.

Nope more apologizing and less art for you ( :P )…...
