I’m not a Lady Gaga fan by any means but I guess when she was being interviewed by the press backstage after she won her GG. Two reporters asked her about Bradley & his contribution to the song & how it was pretty much from his mind & like giving credit to him. And she shut that down & was like I did it. Me. No Bradley. Not exact words obviously but she pretty much was like HE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT! I’M THE GENIUS! It made me laugh.
I guess she wasn’t his One Person. Sad.
Emma Stone didn’t even sound remorseful when she yelled “I’m sorry” at the Golden Globes, she sounded whiney and like she was sorry that people keep being it up and it makes me so angry

I saw your post questioning why some people/films were nominated for a Golden Globe. It's an open secret in town nominations can be bought from HFPA or by sleeping with certain people. Mostly, it's about how much the Studio is willing to pay to get the honor of saying they have an award-nominated show/film. I'm looking at you Netflix.
I don't think this was me? On some of my GG posts I've talked about how the HFPA is a joke and is all about schmoozing the right people but despite that it's still embarrassing to see shit movies get awards. We know that shit but most people don't and that is how tumblr ends up celebrating a horrible movie winning "Best Drama". It cheapens what qualifies as a good film and whether we want it or not the GG tend to have a decent amount of influence on the rest of Awards Season because it sets the tone for who the "front runners" are.
