Remembering the time I was so anxious about scheduling a doctor’s appointment that I wrote myself a script that included all my info and anything else I needed to say word for word. Like “Hello! My name is X and I would like the schedule Y!” type of shit. It was bulleted and arranged with potential question order in mind. Made the phone call in front of my gf (bc otherwise I wasn’t going to schedule the appointment). It worked flawlessly, but my gf looked extremely baffled and concerned.
