I agree with that anon about favoritism. I do not write but I am a reader and this blog has become a disappointment to me. The same stories are posted about repeatedly when there are other better ones on the site. No offense to the authors but some of these stories are not very appealing to me. That is my personal opinion and I am entitled to one. I like A Classical Education and I'll Be Waiting and The Center Cannot Hold and Borrowed Time and Getting the Message and Imprisoned in my Bones.
Aren’t all stories a matter of opinion though? What works for you, doesn’t work for others. And vice versa. The ones you’ve mentioned, all excellent, and some of my personal recommended, but were also sensations too. The Center Cannot Hold and Borrowed Time got a lot of the spotlight for a time.
It’s a matter of when you log on the blog, and what’s popular of the moment. You are absolutely entitled your opinion, and so are the other anons that are responding to the popular story of the moment.
As I’ve said, we can only post what we receive. So bring on the stories that only get 5-6 notes. Which ones deserve more attention?
A Classical Education, The Center Cannot Hold, Borrowed Time, Getting the Message, and Imprisoned in my Bones. All these links will include the feedback sent in about these stories, so you’ll see these stories were very popular at one time or another.

Hi! Can you tell me the fic where the main female character is an author who survived a bad relationship and Benedict Cumberbatch recommends her book to Tom, who decides to contact her via email and then through Skype and they start a relationship? I can't find it anywhere :( Thank you!
That would be Getting the Message by particularscarf. You can find all of the chapters right here. Hopefully we will be seeing more of that fic soon. It's one of my many favorites.
As a Southern girl who, like Emmaleigh, also likes to yell "holy motherfucking shitballs" when overly excited, I'd just like to let the author of "Getting the Message" know that I'm in love with her story. Kudos!
Haha, that is a fun phrase to yell. Add in some flailing hands and arms, and you’re good to go. I’m sure particularscarf will be happy to hear you love her story. We’re definitely looking forward to more. Readers, if you haven’t yet discovered Getting the Message, it can be found here.
I just read part of something lovely and now can't remember...What's the name of the fic with Actor!Tom meets OC because of her first novel, she's 26(?) and a survivor of some really terrible things. Benedict Cumberbatch plays a supporting role. Any hints?
I believe that would be Getting the Message by particularscarf. You can find all of the chapters so far right here. Enjoy!

I'd forgotten that I'd started reading Getting the Message ages ago! I just finished reading all of it so far and, my goodness, it's wonderful!
And we’ve heard from the author that we can be expecting more. YAY!
Can I get the link to Getting the Message, my phone won't let me search the directory and I wanna see what the fuss is about.
Sure can, dear anon. You can find Getting the Message here. Enjoy!
