Iāve taken such a long break from visual art to focus on writing this year that now Iām scared to go back because Iāll be so rusty. The actual reason I stopped doing art was because I was in the middle of an embroidery project that required very specific thread colours, and I didnāt have enough left, and I couldnāt buy them because lockdown and retail because closed.
