My knowledge is limited (lol not again...) but as long as I understand... Ciri has those powers that can destroy, like... Everything? And so. Her family, thousands of people around her are killed in order for her to reach Geralt. Because Geralt is deemed a perfect parent to a child like her, by Destiny. Correct me if Iām wrong lol
It depends on him (and later Yen) that Ciri will grow up kind and in control of her powers. He can also protect her from any monster and man, as he said himself.Ā
And then, when thereās an obvious progress (she is patient, she trusts him, she becomes more and more like herself, kind and strong, and they talk again and again about the hatred being useless and harmful), Ciri finally confesses:
Geralt, I... I killed four dudes. I didnāt mean it though...
And Geralt. My sweet Geralt, parent of the year according to Destiny, perfect papa wolf, amazing and patient teacher, kindhearted pumpkin, lover of horses and bards, he tells her:

He is the best papa and he teaches her the right thing: hate will get you nowhere, we donāt kill out of fear, we kill to protect, he shows her again and again kindness by his own example. I cannot wait to see what Yen and Jaskier will add to Geraltās fenomenal parenting style lol
