Look, I like Disney as much as the next person. I'm not one of those people who comes up with stupid over thought out BS about how the happy ending is false...except for Beauty and the Beast. Look, I've watched this movie hundreds of times - it is one of my favorite Disney films besides The Little Mermaid and Aladdin, but lets be honest.
Bell is obviously suffering from Stockholm Syndrome. She wants out, she's being held against more or less against her will. I understand "well the beast stopped being a beast"
Regardless, she doesn't have any resentment towards him after some time. I mean, when he let her use his library she acted like it was the best gift ever.
Why? Because he let you in another part of the house? He didn't buy those books for you - he had them the whole time. Just saying...
