& exciting :D

so some of you remember a few months ago, when i was unemployed & really struggling; a few of you stepped in & really helped me out

a lot has happened (mostly for the worse) since then -- i (fortunately) currently have one contract-based job rn that doesn’t even come close to being enough hours (not even half of part time), i got surprised with a tonne of loan debt i didn’t even know i had (i was supposed to be in forbearance from the year of americorps service i did, but it wasn’t applied to all of my loans apparently), i don’t have even remotely enough to make rent, i’m two months behind on utilities payments, & none of the jobs & gigs i’m applying to are getting back to me... & somehow i’m also still trying to be in school

basically, i still need help with rent (it costs me $675), utilities (it’s at about $200 now), eventually i’ll figure out my $4.5K overdue loan payments, not to mention medical bills i’m not thinking about, + i owe a friend some money for a prior rent

i currently have $40 to my name

before i go asking for help, though, i want to address a neglected issue: the thank you ideas i’d put forward back in early december -- the main one (still in effect) was a free poem or translation request or calligraphy request for anyone who already donated (just dm/ask); apart from that, i had some ideas for where i wanted to go with this blog, but, like many people post dec 17, my activity on tumblr has changed, so while i do foresee some of the things i mentioned happening graduatlly, i don’t think i’ll be fully implementing those ideas (the personal blogging, the research play-by-plays, the witchy integration) immediately

i’m also still working on getting that new blog about my research started (progress has been slowed by being in these dire straits) & the links to that will be available as soon as it’s ready to go

anyway, i’ll be making a shorter, more rebloggable donations post which i’ll come back & link here, & in the meantime i have links in my description (which should also work on mobile)
