Happy Memorial Weekendđ€đŒđ Regrann from @classicrockandblues - Happy birthday Klaus Meine! Legendary singer-songwriter born on this day in 1948. He is a German vocalist, best known as the lead singer of the hard rock band Scorpions. He and guitarist Rudolf Schenker are the only two members of the group to appear on every Scorpions album. Meine is noted for his unique tenor voice and polished delivery which ranges from high notes to soft ballads. Meine wrote most of the lyrics to Scorpions' songs. He also shared authorship of some lyrics with Herman Rarebell (former drummer of Scorpions) on some songs like the major hit "Rock You Like a Hurricane". Meine composed some songs alone like "Wind of Change", "You and I", "But the Best for You", "Does Anyone Know", "A Moment in a Million Years", "Moment of Glory", "I Wanted to Cry", "Back to You", "My City, My Town", "Follow Your Heart", "Rock'n' Roll Band", "The World We Used To Know" and "Who We Are". In 1990, Meine performed in the "Live In Berlin" rendition of Roger Waters' "The Wall." Meine was a highlight singer during the performance. Besides the Scorpions, he has also collaborated on "Bridge to Heaven" with Uli Jon Roth; "Send Me An Angel," "Bigger than life", "Keep the World Child" and "Jerusalem of Gold" with the Israeli singer Liel Kolet; in "Bis wohin reicht mein Leben" from Rilke Projekt; "Wind of Change" with the tenor JosĂ© Carreras and the song "Dying for an Angel" from the album "The Wicked Symphony" from Avantasia, as well as in the promotional video clip. #KlausMeine #Scorpions #legendary #vocalist #singer #vocals #singersongwriter #songwriter #rockstar #rocklegend #rockgod #hardrock #heavymetal #rocksinger #rockyoulikeahurricane #windofchange #stilllovingyou #sendmeanangel #germanrock #classicrock #rockmusic - #regrann

MICHAEL SCHENKER FEST releases new music video & single for 'Warrior'! New studio album 'RESURRECTION' will be out on March 2, 2018. Pre-Orders launching soon! Get 'Warrior' digitally, here: http://nblast.de/MSFWarrior 'Warrior' is one of two album tracks on which all of the four lead singers appear. It was composed by Michael Schenker, the lyrics were written by Michael Voss-Schoen. "When Michael Voss-Schoen showed me his lyrical and vocals ideas, it instantly came to my mind that all four singers should be involved", Michael Schenker looks back and adds: "I'm really fascinated by the result. It's really interesting how the different voices complement each other. 'Warrior' is really heavy but at the same time ear-friendly and catchy!" "Michael Schenker played the basic riff of the track to me and I immediately had the expression 'Warrior' pop into my mind. On the next day, the first raw version of the song was created; my vision was to let the four voices sound like the four musketeers!" comments Michael Voss-Schoen. @michaelschenkerrocks #MichaelSchenkerFest #MichaelSchenker #MichaelSchenkerGroup #Resurrection #Scorpions #UFO #HeavyMetal #Guitarist #GuitarHero #LegendaryGuitarist #Germany #GermanRock #NuclearBlast
Coma Beach presents: I Wonât Listen
The WĂŒrzburg band revisits its debut-era material with a sharp EP shaped by punk intensity, post-punk textures, and existential unease.
Coma Beachâs I Wonât Listen EP returns to the world of The Scapegoatâs Agony, the bandâs 1995 debut album, with four edited tracks that frame the recordâs bleak narrative in a tighter, more direct form. As the first installment in the bandâs Scapegoat Revisited EP triptych, the release doesnât just recycle older material. It actually focuses on a story of alienation, sarcasm, and emotional exhaustion, all filtered through a sound rooted in punk rock and alternative rock.
The title track, âI Wonât Listen,â captures the EPâs central theme to perfection. Coma Beach use the song to place the albumâs unnamed antihero against the pressure of conformity and social expectation. There is cynicism in the writing, but also a sense of defense, as if rejection becomes the last available form of control. Musically, the track carries the urgency of classic punk, while its darker edges point toward post-punk and grunge.
âThe Past Of The Futureâ widens the scope, presenting time as something less like progress and more like a trap. âPassionâ turns inward, looking at emotional collapse with a rawness that connects the bandâs louder impulses to a more psychological form of unrest. âAnother Songâ closes the EPâs arc with sarcasm as a survival tool, using sharp observation to address the cruelty and absurdity of daily life.
Influences such as the Sex Pistols, Ramones, HĂŒsker DĂŒ, Bad Religion, Joy Division, The Cure, and The Jesus and Mary Chain can be felt in the EPâs DNA, but Coma Beach are less interested in nostalgia than in pressure, conflict, and the uneasy space between rage and resignation. With I Wonât Listen, Coma Beach revisit their early material as something still unsettled, still abrasive, and still tied to questions that refuse easy answers.

Till Lindemann Unleashes New Solo Single âMeine Weltâ Ahead of 2025 Tour
Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann has released his latest solo single, âMeine Weltâ, marking a bold and thought-provoking addition to his growing catalog of solo work. Initially launched digitally on December 20, 2024, the single has now been made available in physical formats as of March 14, 2025, through Out of Line Music. âMeine Weltâ (translated as My World) showcases Lindemannâs signatureâŠ
Andreas Malecek.
Born 28 June 1964, Berlin, Germany.
He was the last original member to join Fair Warning. In 1995 he was struck by an unexplained illness which left him unable to move his body. He then started to improve, but did not return to his pre-sickness state for some time. Without it, they might not have left Fair Warning in 2000.
He then formed a band called 'LAST AUTUMN'S DREAM'. However, he also left that band for health reasons.
Reading interviews from his time at Fair Warning, he was very honest in answering any questions he was asked. But fair warning members seemed to think he was a man who didn't talk much. He's always either playing guitar or reading.
His wife is Japanese.
I don't know what he is up to now, but I hope he regains his health and continues to play the guitar he loves.
