but when geralt gets that itch, starts reaching for the swords in his back, only to remember he has them hanging in the wall in their bedroom, they hunt monsters together, sometimes it’s geralt and yen (yen wants to visit triss sometimes, to see the young sorceress’ smiling face as she thrives off the political sphere in Kovir), sometimes geralt and dandelion (for old times sake, dandelions itchy fingers need inspiration , or maybe Damien is sniffing around the vineyard) , sometimes geralt goes by himself, to meet up with ciri for a hunt and yen and dandelion stay behind and just enjoy each other’s company.

Sometimes I think about Dandelion perched on the edge of Yen’s chaise, the sun warming his hair, turning some of the chestnut strands a honey blond, plucking happy tunes in harmony with the bird song, composing bawdy songs together, engaging in word play together, teasing each other, Yennefer lounging with her two cent romances , reading lines aloud for dandelion to poke fun of, preening and laughing as dandelion composed ridiculous and over the top odes to her Beauty, (he saves the sweet , romantic ones for singing her to sleep)

both of them keeping an eye on the road leading up to corvo Bianco, for when their wolf to appear in the horizon (sometimes with their little sparrow in tow) They breath a sigh of relief when they see him and lead him back into the main house.
