Okay, I saw your Modern!Geralt headcanon, and I’ve gotta have you weigh in on something. Do you think they teach Witchers how to dance at Kaer Morhen? Hear me out, Vesimir teaching Geralt how to dance as a way to teach him agility and balance. Fighting after all is kind of like a choreographed dance, just more violent... (Just imagine Geralt ballroom dancing, waltzing and swing dancing, and then teaching Ciri how to dance)
One of the biggest training routines they have at Kaer Morhen is dance. Just like football players take ballet, Witchers learn waltzing. At first, other Witchers thought Vesemir was crazy for introducing dancing to new recruits but he proved his point. Vesemir had been teaching one of his prominent students how to waltz. A cute little white haired Geralt struts in on his little legs. The other Witchers could only smirk and make fun of poor Geralt but he stood his ground.
They released one of their ghouls that they used for training on Geralt and it charged at him. Of course, Geralt did what he was trained for and started to waltz around the ghoul. The Witchers laughed at the little boy, telling him to lunge towards the monster but Geralt took his time, watching the ghoul as it circled him. The ghoul would lunge at him but due to his steps, he took a step back, and twirled, appearing on ghouls right side. He swung his sword decapitating the ghoul in on swift swing. The Witchers were stunned and within a few seconds, they all murmured their, "yeah okay that was cool, that works. Teach them boys to dance."
Within the next few years, Vesemir would hold dance classes and teach the boys to dance. Waltz, ballroom, every kingdom's national dance, ballet, all of it. Geralt was top of his class. He had a swift grace to him that others boys just couldn't manage. Being Vesemir's favorite didn't help. A few boys had a hard time and asked Geralt for tips. Lambert and Eskel knew he was the best and admired his skills. The three quickly became friends and soon were the best three of their classes. (This also explains their Hugh thighs of betrayal)
After Geralt had traveled around the kingdoms, he wasn't just known for his fighting or even bed skills, he was known for his gracefulness and his insane dance moves. Soon after he took ciri in and she asked to start training, he obliged.
"Why are you giving me your hand?"
"We're going to dance."
"Geralt I asked to train."
"Exactly."
Yennefer's favourite part of her day was watching Geralt teaching ciri how to dance and deliver a powerful strike at the same time. Even Eskel and Lambert would join, Vesemir watching proudly in the background.
Bonus: "No geralt I'm not dancing with you."
"Come on Yennefer, it's just us."
After some pleading, he was able to convince her and they slow danced quietly next to the fire place, the golden hues washing over them.
