"I don't want to see that dog anywhere near our house!"
Screencap from a lost episode of Geoweasel: The Anime
:3
Don't worry about these. This was solely for my own amusement.
Here's a short, old 4th of July cartoon for you
A remix of sorts of Music B from Mario's Picross that I made years back as an underscore for a scene in the Geoweasel episode Survival of the Fattest. I had just always liked that song and thought it would work well for something like that, but of course I wasn't going to lift it directly from the game. I don't know if this is an actual loophole to use a song you want in a Youtube video without getting flagged but let's keep it a secret just in case.

2004 called, they want their Flash cartoons back
Some old games I made
Between 2002 and 2006, I actually made a number of games in a program aptly named Game Maker but most of them have gotten lost over the years and unless someone out there somehow has files of the older ones I did put out, only three of them still exist. I'll put up what I have for you to download. All of these games are .exe files so if you have a Mac, you can't play them. Don't worry though, you're not missing much.
Agility
This was one of two games I made from scratch within a few hours and slapped my old Geoweasel characters on it as an excuse to put it on my site in 2006. It's actually based on a game a bunch of my friends used to play in high school on our TI-84 calculators because they could ban Game Boys and cell phones but how were they going to take away a calculator? It was a game where you could move left and right and dodge randomly-generated spikes as the walls closed in on you and your score just went up as you went further. And that's exactly what this is.
Bounce
The other game I programmed within a few hours, this one being an original concept. You just click the characters to keep them from hitting the ground. Each one flies up at a different speed/height when you hit them. They can also land on Weas at the bottom and bounce way back up and get extra points. It's kind of like an arcade or Game & Watch game so there's not much to it.
Nario's Adventure 2 Demo
This game is a few years older (2003) and it's not even a full game. Unfortunately, I do not have the full "Nario's Adventure 2" as I lost it in a computer crash, nor do I have the first "Nario's Adventure," but that was really buggy and boring and almost unplayable. This demo is just one level from a world, then the world's boss, then another single level from the next world, then that world's boss for...4 or 5 of the worlds, I don't remember. The full game ended up having 9 worlds of 5 levels with a secret rainbow/neon world at the end that I thought was pretty cool and a lot of issues from this demo were fixed. For instance, in here, he always faces right when standing still, jumping on some of the bosses a certain way causes you to die, etc. I also added in powerups that gave you a shield so you could take an extra hit, doors and pipes, all kinds of stuff that made it more than just "walk and jump till you get to the end." But it's all gone unfortunately.
I had made a couple other games over the years but have nothing from them to show. One was Mitri Vs. Meat which starred Mitri from Geoweasel and you had to beat meat monsters and collect popcorn. It was a platformer, but all the levels were single screens and it played more like an old arcade game. I also started another similar game with Rube and Petrick (if anyone remembers those characters), and there was one other small game with Nar that involved disco and you moved around as items like CDs, music notes, and mirror balls flew at you and you had to collect them. But again, everything's been lost in computer crashes because I used the same unreliable Gateway Windows ME from 2000 to 2007. There's so much old stuff I wish I still had but simply don't. As for games, maybe I'll get back to making more someday. I still really like the idea of creating and designing a game from the ground up, but I really just don't have the time right now, nor the tools. Maybe one day though...
