“Seasonable” Summer may be packed with a glaring heat but I still love it, especially on the onset. It’s tough to write about loving the season when it’s this discouragingly hot and dry. I hope this ridiculously high temperatures though won’t keep you and I from enjoying the things that’s awesome about this season. There’s a lot of ways to beat the heat. For starters, stay hydrated by drinking a lot lot of fresh juices and/or water. Sneaking in extra of those two items whenever we can is another sure tip. ippie? Nope! “Boho at heart” sounds a lot better! Other than the architectural eclecticism, beating bars, economical yet gourmet restaurants, as well as the wealth of cultural offerings, the main city’s overall bohemian vibe also won my heart. I couldn’t help feeling connected with the place even though I only stayed here for seven days. The sentiment isn’t that different from leaving Siruma’s Camurawayan Cove or any decent beach resort for that matter.
