Growing up two of the top 5 most important tv shows I watched was Reading Rainbow and Star Trek Next Generation. It is widely known among my friends that there are two people on this planet that I would sob real, heartfelt, ugly tears if I met in real life: Stephen King and LeVar Burton. Meeting Levar Burton would undoubtedly turn me into Troy from community (and then we could hopefully live on a boat together just like they did). I am an unapologetically nerdy book loving trekkie and LeVar Burton was one of the major influences in how that came to be.
