This is unlikely to be totally new, but it's at least still mildly distracting. It's a continuation of my geosummary project to chunk flickr images by geohash.
It's not perfect, but I do find that deliberately chunking the interesting images from flickr into the geohash region they correspond to, as opposed to the exact place, gives it a more interesting flavour.
Contrary to what I was originally intending, I have had to add a openstreetmap+leaflet map as context, because otherwise you really have no idea where you are. I was hoping it wouldn't be necessary, particularly since I have to scale it in slightly nasty ways.
It has it's bugs, and there are a millions things I'd like to tweak, but it's not bad for version 0.0.26. Btw, surprise surprise, there are a few cats in there, starting in Amsterdam :-)
