#genuine garbage

I've been watching Ugly Betty while i crochet, and I dont think a show has ever made me more angry at the main character. Walter is an obvious piece of trash, especially in episode 7, but for some reason, Betty is the one who has to go back and apologize for "not being true to herself". I don't like to lookshame, but the wardrobe for this show is very good at making Gina rodriguez look a mess. The fact that she wore that hideous prom dress to dinner had me CRINGING, and then Walter behaving like a baby?? He already cheated on her, yet she got back with him, which is PATHETIC. I don't think there was a single woman in the writers room

idk how we got to a point already of ‘its ok if u still prefer white annabeth’ posts within uhhh 2 hours of the casting but. examine why u prefer white annabeth and whether or not ur carrying some kind of racist prejudice masquerading as smth else with that sentiment. we’ve seen this argument w/ countless black actresses in roles like this before and if that “preference” argument was rooted in racism then, it’s still rooted in racism now

I keep seeing Fast & Furious movies come and this shit suuuucks lmao
