ok the first bioshock was really fun, i admit it took me awhile to learn how to effectively switch plasmids and weapons in the middle of a fight. the story (even if it takes a bit) is actuallly gripping and actually had a moral choice aspect that didn’t shit itself like a 2 year old with a bottle of laxatives. the game is kinda like silent hill 2 where it does a good job creeping you out with just the atmosphere and ambiance. however it isnt a perfect game, a great game with a tight story, but it does have its flaws; one of which is the part of the game where you mysteriously get transported into a round of pipe mania. also even though the ambiance fits i felt like it had a case of identical levels syndrome for most of it. adam is basically plot hole stucco and the game literally hands you weapons as if you were a small child who’s crying because the kid next to him got more ice cream. half of them you’ll barely use, personally i only used the shotgun, revolver, and crossbow because everything else was shit until you’ve upgraded them. also its suffers the same fate as many other games like it, where once you find the correct combination of plasmids, tonics, and weapons you were so over powered that if the main character even broke wind half of the fucking city would collapse.
