I finished Yoshitsune's route in Genroh last night. IT WAS SO LONG, 8 CHAPTERS TO BE EXACT. Each chapter was long too. It started out pretty good, but then everything got all depressing and so many unexpected twists and turns near the end made me all "wtf is going on." Romantic development was barely there it almost didn't feel like an otome game. Every time I thought something was gonna happen, nothing did! Seriously nothing happened until the very end. Part of that reason is because Yoshitsune didn't want to accept her feelings, but still frustrating lol. By the way, the confession scene was shitty. It just ended there before going onto the epilogue. It wasn't even that romantic lol. Epilogue made it a little better, but the kiss CG could use improvement.
At the end when they were gonna escape to China I thought that was gonna be it but he just had to go back to Hiraizumi because it was burned down and shit. Lmao they just really wanted to drag it out as much as possible.
I like otome games with a good story, but you know, an equal amount of romance is needed too.
And here we have Saya's favorite phrase: "PLEASE TAKE MEEEE WITH YOUUUU." She said it three times in this scene lol. I guess her persistence is a good thing though.
I hope Benkei's route is better because I had my eyes on him from the start.
