i forgot to mention him telling the wheatleys that they're made of stars uM NOT OK FOR MY POOR SPACE CHAMPION HEART
Oh god so I debated putting that in this chapter but that was the whole reason from the very beginning I gave the Wheatley’s freckles. They were like a representation of different things in Hermann’s life hes tried to steer clear of. But here he can’t avoid them and hates them at first because they force him into things that are painful (like the games and the training in the beginning). But slowly over time he realizes that they are pushing him to be a better person and they actually love him without criticism which I’m sure he’s had TO MUCH OF in his life. Its the same way I’m sure Newt treats him. I like you for you. You don’t need to change for me.
When he was a really young I imagine he had no friends but stars and he would kinda personify them or talk to them. So that’s what the Wheatleys are. His star friends many years later.
