if you're still doing the drabble thing, draculaura/twyla with draculaura being sick and not being able to work on the paper and such? ^o^
The small vampire lay in her canopy coffin bed with a thermometer in her mouth, pouting as the red line kept climbing higher and higher.
Twyla patted her hair sympathetically, listening to Draculaura complain about how tired she was and how bad she felt in general and how she’d never get her homework done now. Twyla smiled sadly as she shyly kissed the vampire’s forehead, telling her that she should try to relax and get some rest.
Draculaura only pouted more, but she grew quieter, smiling softly as she snuggled down into the warm blankets and pillows.
The shadow ghoul left the room for a few minutes, returning with a bowl filled with scream of chicken soup. She held the bowl and spooned the broth into the vampire’s mouth carefully, hoping that it would help.
Twyla had little knowledge of how to care for sick monsters, but it didn’t seem so difficult. After Draculaura finished the soup, Twyla brought her a new box of Kleenex and put a movie in, hoping that the vampire would fall asleep while viewing something.
She sat at the foot of Draculaura’s bed, watching her friend and ready to help with anything that was needed. Draculaura looked over at the shadow ghoul, smiling to her sleepily and receiving a shy smile in response.
When Draculaura awoke again, many hours later, there was a lovely card sitting on her bedside table, hand drawn and very elegant.
