Leo had just recently moved with his dad to a new town once again, but at least this time it wasnāt theĀ teenās fault... and as Leo told it it wasnāt his fault the last two times either. This time however, his father had been offered a security position that he couldnāt turn down, so once again they packed up and moved. Yet again he had to get used to a new area and new school but at least the move gave him a chance to act normal once again, or at least as normal as he was capable of.
He walked up to the entrance of the school on maybe hisĀ second or third day, dressed in a slightly tight dress shirt, the pressure allowing his wings to stay hidden since Leo didnāt have theĀ best control of them, slightly faded jeans and black converse. He made sure to tighten his fingerless glovesĀ after adjusting his gray messenger bagĀ that he had been given after his first collection and headed inside and into the fray of students all running and yelling.
Leo had always enjoyed watching others as he walked, occasionally getting glimpses into moments of their lives and tended to avert his gaze when he found one that wouldnāt make it to the end of the school year. He glanced at theĀ itinerary on his phone andĀ after a couple minutes found his first class. He walked in and headed towards the back and found what he hoped was an untaken seat next to a girl with darkĀ hair and clothing.Ā āSeems like ideal company...ā heĀ thought before tapping on her desk to pull her attention from the book that she appeared to have he nose buried in.Ā āSorry, I was just wondering if this seat was taken,ā he asked, gesturing to the one next to her.
