"Fluttershy" Lady Fluttering Oath: Fluttershy is the slightly mischievous and sure footed Element of Loyalty and half bat pony on her father's side. She's technically a Lady, as her parents, Posey and Crimson Oath, are Duchess and Duke of Trotsylvania.
She has five siblings, four older and one younger but she only gets along with her eldest sister Echoing song and younger sister Cozy glow.
Her cutiemark is a compass wrapped in an exotic flower. Her special talent is nature based exploration and biology. Her job is to go to unexplored wild areas and document the enviroment, magic items and any ruins she comes across, right now she's in the process of charting out and going through the Everfree forest, it seems to be growing...
Twilight Andromeda Sparkle: Twilight is the loud, slightly awkward but earnest Element of Laughter. She came to Ponyville because her parents blamed each other and the school and split after her accident. She wanted to start over without them.
When she was six, she took the entrance exam to the gifted magic school. But something went wrong, and Twilight put too much magic and desperation into trying to hatch a false egg and she lost concentration when something exploded in the sky. The magic caused her horn to shatter and her eye burst, a scar made by magic down her face. She has a replacement horn made from a magic crystal grown in the Pie Family crystal mine.
Twilight's cutiemark is a book with magical fireworks. Her special talent is entertainment and magic storytelling. She performs the stories she reads and writes to crowds of ponies with illusions. Storytellers are a unique brand of magic, they hold power over words. The right ones can be devastating in the wrong hooves...
Rarity Belle: Rarity is the dedicated, observent and valiant Element of Honesty. She is believed to be the last known crystal unicorn and often had to fight off potential suitors after the bragging rights of having her as a wife.
She went though the Guard Academy and training alongside Fleur dis Lee, the two growing an unshakable bond that put them at the top of the class and stays strong even with Rarity sent to Ponyville.
Her cutiemark is six diamonds in a shield formation. Her special talent is offensive and defensive diamond magic, she can create diamond shields and form them into blades, she's particularly good at sword fighting. Her job is to keep Ponyville safe, as an elite Night Guard she patrols for danger whether it be monster or pony. Lately she's been hearing rumours about a strange crystal formation spotted in the far frozen, almost like a castle...
"Pinkie Pie" Pink Quartz Pie: Pinkie is the happy go lucky and imaginative Element of Magic and personal student of Princess Luna.
Ever since she accidentally discovered an entirely new way to cast magic, she's held the honour of the Princess' first ever student and the attention of Canterlot. Despite lots of ponies coming to enjoy her presence in the castle and brightening it up, it hasn't always been easy to be in the spotlight and she felt the only time she could truly let her guard down was around the Princess, her foalhood friends Blueblood and Trixie and foalsitter Chrysalis.
Pinkie's cutiemark is a magic paintbrush painting a sparkling heart. Her special talent is magic and she uses her paintwand to cast it and her necklaces and bracelets made of Pie Family crystal to store it. She doesnt technically have a job, she practices her new magic and is looking into eventually being able to commercialise her paintbrush wands to other creatures who want to cast magic but lack a horn to channel it. The EEA is very unhappy with her broadening the world's understanding of magic beyond what they try to enforce teach...
Applejaqueline "Applejack": Humble and charitable to a fault, and not afraid to do the hard work herself, Jaqueline is the Element of Generosity. She returned to her old home after her aunt and uncle passed away, wanting to be among family. She was pleasantly surprised to see the farm had expanded to other fruits and vegetables.
She had left after a huge argument about how to help the dying farm, being sent to live with her elderly aunt and uncle to give her a stable home life. She may be a more refined and classy lady now but she's not one to shy away from rolling up the sleeves and applying elbow grease to a task.
Applejack's cutiemark is a contract stamped with an apple. Her special talent is organisation, specifically events and fair contracts. She runs multiple charity organisations with her inherented and well invested money, going from town to town making Equestria a nicer place to live in. She's one of the most popular, due to getting into the hard work herself and never talking down on others. Seems that some ponies in Canterlot are getting annoyed about this...
Rainbow dash: Short, twitchy and full of warmth, Rainbow dash is the Element of Kindness and half dragon. Her parents Firefly and Strike raised her in the Dragonlands for the first seven years of her life after removing away from Cloudsdale.
She had lots of trouble learning to fly as a young child and her parents had no choice but to send her to a special flight class for pegasi with flying difficulties. She met her childhood best friend Ditzy Hooves there and the two encouraged each other and their class to push through an uncaring instructor and fly.
Rainbow's cutiemark is a heart made of dragon scales, wings and tail. It shows her connection to her draconic roots and her ability to love boldly and fiercely and her talent for bringing out others "inner dragons". She works as a coach and motivational speaker for others and tutors creatures who struggle to fly. She's been having problems with some flower selling trouble makers who distrust her draconic side though...
