Damn. He was having trouble seeing straight for a brief moment. One second he was lurking through Green Hill Zone and the next he was staring at the ground as he braced against the nearest tree. At this rate, he’d hardly last the month. It didn’t help that he had to hide from both the public and even Eggman’s robots. It didn’t help that, just as he thought of the doctor’s betrayal, he heard the telltale click of a robot’s launcher from behind him.

As he says this, the green hedgehog kicked a destroyed robot’s head aside as he lifts his shades up. He’d just chanced upon the blue blur and started this impromptu contest while Sonic was already in the midst of dealing with Eggman’s machines. A great way to make a first impression is spin dashing through a robot’s torso, right?
