I have to say that in 2023 when I started in WTTT/SH, I used to related a lot to California and his relationship with Washington and Oregon because I felt left behind by my friends of that moment and I ended up friendless by the rest of the year. It was a way I could cope not having friends and changes in my life during 11th grade and part of 12th grade.
I remember that I felt depressed about that and I couldn't just interact with them for that, besides of feeling depressed I felt betrayed by them (specially by 'R', I was more closer to her).
During 12th grade I realized something: "Wait! I do talk with my classmates from other 12th grades and also from mine, I interact just fine with them; so that makes Maryland more relatable rather than California because I don't fit in mostly friend groups in my generation but I interact with them just fine! And also Cali is less friendly than Maryland in my thoughts."
So that's how I felt in 12th grade mostly but now I'm ok, and me and 'R' we're in good terms.
