So I’m inching my way through Hollow Knight and I’ve just beaten The Broken Vessel/ Lost Kin. To be a cute little game, Hollow Knight is so heart breaking. The loss that pervades the entire thing… oh my God.

Not just loss of family, of people, but of SELF. So many have lost THEMSELVES to time, to the Radiance, to violence. It’s so… oh man. The weight of all this.

I’m so glad Silksong’s come along. I’m moving through it too but I don’t want to go too far. I want the whole story first. And so far, seeing the Crossroads infected is so… like it hurt my heart.

Anyhow. It’s a great game. It’s hard but the wins and progression make it worth it. Play it if you haven’t.
