(my headcanon about them in Crystal falls is that Dipper and Mabel were hole-mates, born from 2 holes that were too close to each other so they were born at the same date and they looked a lot alike but they were separated at birth during the gem war, Mabel was in Earth and Dipper lived in Homeworld)
(Bill got his bow tie from dipper since Dipper is the prime Gem Librarian in change of all the logs of the homeworld, Dipper also has a few old age Victorian Earth books like How to Tie a Bow Tie)
(Dipper is also Bill’s personal attendant since he didn’t want a in his words “a Boring nosy busy body yellow Pearl” watching his every move, but bill is a bit wishy washy about being called “My diamond” by dipper )

ok so, 2 questions. 1. in your main au, you said that bill and dip broke up, how did dipper handle that, like, since theyre bonded, bill has to be in a certain range if im remembering right. so did dipper just ignore him like mable did to stan in land before swine? 2. in your gem falls au, how did mable react to bill calling dipper names? did she yell at him or not say anything?
They were bonded yes, but at the time the bond had been around for so long that they were able to go very, very far apart from each other, as its strength fluctuates throughout the story depending on several different factors. Bill left after their fight and no one saw him till January, although he wasn’t able to leave the town. Dipper took it BAD. The only reason he didn’t become Bella Swan and sit and stare at a wall for months was because Mabel made sure he was active and involved with friends and he did get a bit better but it was a very harsh betrayal that knocked his confidence and trust down several pegs.
He called Dipper worthless, a traitor, disloyal, pathetic, and briefly said he should have shattered him long ago. Mabel swooped in from the ceiling, kicked his bubble across the room and started yelling at him. Bill started screeching at her about "how dare she speak like this to a diamond" and Mabel turned the Yellow Diamond face on him, got REAL close to that bubble, and said, "You ain't a diamond, YOU A LIL BITCH."The following science was broken by Garnet going "Damn straight," which is easily the most un-Garnet thing she's ever said and yet I can totally see her saying that in this case. Greg covered Steven's ears after Mabel called Bill a bitch. Bill was sullen and pissed off and wouldn't speak to anyone for the rest of the day. Pearl actually went to comfort Dipper, who was clearly upset, which really helped them put aside their differences.
If yellow diamond is bill, and blue diamond is kryptos, would pink diamond be Pyronica?
You are absolutely correct! There is no White Diamond.
Bill filled the role of White Diamond while he was present on Homeworld: the head of the triumvirate, the strongest and oldest Diamond. Originally it was just him and his brother Kevin, the original Blue Diamond, and Earth was Kevin’s first and only colony. Kevin loved the earth and his future vision for saw great potential for what was at the time unicellular life on the planet. Bill ignored Earth for many a year and conquered other planets. Then Kevin was shattered by a brief uprising on Homeworld, and Bill swept all knowledge of the uprising under the rug and forbid talk of Blue Diamond. He created Pyronica and Kryptos to replace Kevin, and both are lesser compared to him.
Bill also takes the in-show role of Pink Diamond as the tragic Diamond Rose shattered and who she and Jasper originally belonged to.
