Both Slash Kamei from Snowboard Kids and David Goldman from Gekibo: Gekisha Boy are iconic Japanese videogame characters who share a distinct, cartoonish, 90s visual style defined by an exaggerated, large, and oblong-shaped nose. 

Slash Kamei (Snowboard Kids Series)

First introduced in the 1997 Nintendo 64 game developed by Atlus and Racdym, Slash is a balanced, trick-focused 10-year-old character known for his towering spiky hair, face paint, and massive, rounded nose. 

Details: He is consistently depicted as the mascot or main character of the franchise. Slash is athletic, confident, and known to be cocky and a bit reckless. 

Appearance: His design in the early games features a "super deformed" anime aesthetic, sporting large, blocky limbs, oversized shoes, and a prominent bulbous nose that dominates the center of his face. 

David Goldman (Gekibo: Gekisha Boy / The Cameraman)

Serving as the protagonist of Tomcat System’s 1992 photographic action game, originally released for the PC Engine (TurboGrafx-16), David Goldman is an aspiring photojournalist.

Details: The game centers on David going on bizarre, fast-paced photographic missions around Los Angeles to fulfill challenges assigned by his dean.
