I have so many questions about this Seven Havens concept art:
What the heck is Geet? A tamarin-boar-feline fusion?
Does Pavi just bend a prosthetic out of earth when she's not riding Geet? Because I can't imagine hopping on one leg being an effective alternative to walking.
Jae has tattoos and is clearly a member of the White Lotus—is Jae in the actual series not there yet?
Is this still the same timeline as the official plot or much earlier? There's something futuristic about Jae's chest-and-shoulder armor thing, but his staff looks traditional. I can easily see the story happening just decades after TLOK.
Do male airbendering masters in Pavi's time no longer shave their heads? Or is Jae genderqueer?
What caused the arrow design to evolve to what Jae has?
Realized I hadn't announced this here. I'm the Story Editor on Avatar: Seven Havens! (for non-animation industry folks, Story Editor is the lead writer under the showrunners).
Heads up to anyone following me from previous work like Trollhunters or Star Trek: Prodigy: this tumblr is gonna be sharing more Avatar stuff, especially as we now have our official first art! This is Avatar Pavi, her cat-monkey Geet, and her friend and sorta-mentor Jae. The city behind her is called Ellora. We're deep in production and it's looking spectacular.
