Day 6: Fanon

It’s a fictional season 6 finale and season 7

Let’s start with a complete makeover of season 6 finale. I don’t want Kai to kill everyone because we all know how much that decision was lame and shitty. Alright so our fav Gemini didn’t have a very good time in the 1903 prison world. They fed on him a lot and siphoned his powers too. After that they came up with a plan to escape and take over Mystic Falls to start with. They were eager for power and recognition. Another thing they did was to read his mind when he was weak. They knew all about his coven and saw the unborn twins as a threat. They decided they would contact Lily once they were out. She couldn’t have given up on them. Even though Kai still hated his family he knew he had to stop them. When they managed to get back in the real world they brought him with them as their blood bag and he escaped.

To say Bonnie was unhappy to see him was an understatement. She ‘motus’-ed him at least five times before he had a chance to even utter a word. Of course she didn’t believe him at first. Since he insisted she talked to Jo and Alaric. They were suspicious as well because they didn’t trust him. For a moment Kai was tempted to give up and go as far as he could of his family. But his pride told him otherwise. He asked for his father to perform a truth spell on him and he passed the exam with flying colors. Now they needed a plan to stop the heretics from approching Jo and the twins. Bonnie went to ask Damon for some advice (to Kai’s dismay since he was the one freeing his mom aka a heretic) and she came back with bad news. Lily joined her 'family’. Alaric thought they should reschedule the wedding but they realized they couldn’t find a better trap. The coven started to discuss strategies and Bonnie couldn’t help to feel a little jealous of this dynamic. She grew up as a lone witch and she didn’t know what she missed until now. She considered going to Portland someday even though the Gemini didn’t seem very welcoming. New Orleans was closer but the Mickaelson family surely didn’t like her much either. Anyway, it was decided that the 'wedding’ would happen but without Jo. Bonnie would take her place next to Alaric with an illusion spell while the coven was waiting for the heretics to attack. At first they didn’t want Kai to tag along but on the other hand a siphoner was always useful.

All was ready and as expected the heretics came to ruin the party. The fight was messy and there was no real victory.

Good-ish : Jo and the twins were safe. And that’s about it.

Bad : Heretics not dead (not even a single one), numerous wounded among the geminis and the certainty it wasn’t over.

Alright so that’s a wrap for season 6. Moving on to the next one. Warning : I didn’t watch season 7 so I don’t think there will be a lot of details.

I think it’s safe to skip a couple of weeks so the coven can heal and make plans. Kai was glad they weren’t putting him aside anymore. It wasn’t warm far from that of course but it was enough for him. Honestly what he wanted most was Bonnie’s attention. He knew that it was impossible to consider she would like to date him but he was hoping for a friendship. Even that was a long-shot. But she didn’t try to kill him again so it was a good sign, right ?

The heretics were no show but they knew better. The coven spell tracked them to a hidden house in the woods. They came up with various plans that all failed.

Magic. Bomb. Normal vampires…..All they could think of actually. Kai and Bonnie got hurt on one of those missions. The plan was to create a giant magical fireball and to throw it at the heretics. This fire was supposed to burn any supernatural creature. Pun not intended but let’s say their plan backfired. The heretics used an even more powerful magic to control the ball and threw it back. Kai tried to protect Bonnie but they were both hit with a part of the ball. He got worse injuries than she did though. The coven healed them. That was also when their first kiss happened. She was telling him how stupid he was to put himself at risk and he couldn’t resist. She slapped him then kissed him too and another slap before storming out leaving a really puzzled Kai.

Now let’s talk about Bonenzo. Not gonna happen ! Enzo felt very lonely and laid eyes on Bonnie. Since Kai didn’t give up his stalker-ish habits he noticed he had a rival. He thought he only had one : Damon. The witch didn’t seem interested in any of them but Kai wasn’t the best judge of people. Jealousy was eating his heart and it led to a fight between him and Enzo. Stefan and Damon had to seperate them. After that, Bonnie talked to Enzo to tell him nothing would happen between them. She couldn’t deny the chemistry she had with Kai.

What about Steroline ? Well I never agreed to turn them into a couple because I always thought they were way better off as friends. So this season they realized they confused their feelings and came back to their good old friendship.

Jo gave birth to her twins. Two girls. Annalise and Sophia. Alaric and her agreed that they would never let them perform the merge. Never. Tyler became their bodyguard since the fake wedding. It was satisfying for him to feel useful again. His heart was torn between two old flames. Two epic blondes.

Let’s talk about Matt a bit. This cute little human was helpful as well. With his new deputy status he was able to find information about the heretics. The coven lost all the battles but still. He needed to do something to protect his hometown.

After a while they realized they couldn’t kill the heretics but they could make them sleep forever. To cast this spell the coven summoned the ghosts of their ancestors to have more power. The plan was a success. They were locked in coffins and hidden somewhere.

The real wedding happened. But Kai didn’t see most of it because he was too busy exploring Bonnie’s body.

Gemini Coven Appreciation Week Day 4 - The Ascendant | Fanon |

Prison Worlds were a Gemini specialty and could only be opened by channeling a celestial event by way of the ascendant, with the help of Bennett blood; but this was not always so. It was constructed by Ashura Parker, fifth and youngest of Ishmael Parker, leader of the Gemini Coven in 1840. Ashura was considered to be the most intelligent witch to grace the magical realm and was the first to ever grasped and practiced the fundamentals of The Aether Element in all of its entirety.

To have the ability to execute Aether magic is to have the power to create something out of nothing, the power of a god. Cloaking spells, barriers, aneurysms and the like are all examples of Aether magic executed in its Elemental state whereas Prison Worlds were made by way of all 3 forces - Elemental, Cosmic and Spiritual, the latter being impossible to achieve by mere mortals.
