Do you know that we are living through a real famine? I am one of those who feel hunger every moment, searching for anything to eat… and finding nothing.

And despite my own suffering, what breaks my heart even more is what I see with my own eyes in the streets: cats and dogs dying from hunger.

Yes, I have seen their bodies lying on the sidewalks — weak, fragile, lifeless — passing away in silence while no one pays attention.

There is no trash, no leftover food, nothing to keep them alive even for one more day.
