19-year-old Khalil Al Habil's liver and kidneys are failing. Shrapnel damage from the bombardment that killed his baby brother Omar has gone mostly untreated due to a lack of funds and resources. The ill effects of this damage have progressed to the point that the organs are losing their ability to function. Khalil urgently needs 3 rounds of treatment to combat the effects of his deteriorating liver and kidneys.
We've paid off the first round of treatments but Khalil has two treatments that he still needs. The second costs about $1,250 usd, but we haven’t made much progress in more than a month and his condition is getting progressively worse. We need to meet this second goal ASAP!!!
Current: $10,052 out of $10,407 usd (12 May)
Need to raise: $355 usd
Hello, my name is Khalil, I'm 19 years old, from Gaza.

🕊️ The Story of Amani and Her Children: Mohammad (17), Moath (14), and Habiba (10)
"Everything collapsed… and we were left alone under the ashes."
My name is Amani, and I’m a mother of three: Mohammad (17), Moath (14), and Habiba (10).
We used to live in a small home in northern Gaza. It wasn’t fancy, but it was filled with love, memories, and safety.
One day during the war, everything changed.
There was a loud explosion… then screams… then silence. When the dust settled, our home was gone.
Everything we owned — clothes, family photos, Mohammad’s school books, Habiba’s favorite doll — was buried under the rubble.
We fled with nothing but the clothes on our backs.
Since then, we've been living in a tent, exposed to the cold, the heat, the fear, and the hunger.
💔 “Mom, when will we go back home?” Mohammad asked me.
I have no answer… because there is no home to return to.
Mohammad, at 17, should be finishing school, but he had to stop because we can't afford even a notebook.
Moath, 14, is deeply traumatized. He barely sleeps at night.
Habiba, only 10, has forgotten what it feels like to sleep in a real bed.
💢 Life became a daily struggle:
We often sleep hungry.
There's no medicine when my children get sick.
I have no job, no support, and no future in sight.
All I have now… is my voice.
🙏 Please, help us survive.
We don’t ask for much — only for the chance to live with dignity.
Your donation — no matter how small — could:
Provide food, blankets, or clean water.
Help Mohammad return to school.
Give Habiba a reason to smile again.
🕊️ Save Amani and her children
You can help rebuild a life destroyed by war.

Yeah, it kinda feels like 5 dollars doesn't take you as far as it used to these days with inflation...
Can 5 dollars save a life?
Currency may seem weak with inflation these days, but it is NOT powerless.
If the movie Antz taught us anything, it's that a small impact can become incredibly powerful if we all do it together.
One 5-dollar donation. A coffee. 20 gumballs. A meal. A life. Food and shelter for a family.
Today, I'm putting my money where my mouth is. For my friend Aahed and his family. I want to start a train of 5-dollar donations. Starting with my own!!
Despite the ceasefire, families of Gaza are not safe. Remember: if you can't donate right now, help me get the word out!
Help me support them!
Join the 5-dollar train!! 🚂

Gaza's Silent Scream: Our Children Are Starving. Will You Help Us Survive?
The Unbearable Reality: 20 Months of Hell in Gaza
This isn't just a picture; these are the faces of my daughters and my brother's daughters, innocent souls trapped in Gaza. For over 20 months, our family has endured relentless starvation, bombings, and unimaginable fear. Our home, our memories, are now rubble. We've been displaced over seven times, now living in a tent, exposed to the brutal elements and constant danger. My father became a martyr in this war. Every day, we pray we won't be next.
The Unspeakable Cost of Survival: Food as a Luxury
Imagine trying to feed 17 souls when a kilogram of flour costs an astounding 30−30-30−38 (130 shekels). This is our daily battle. The borders of Gaza Strip have been closed since March 1, 2025, for over four months, cutting off essential supplies. Food is scarce, clean water is a luxury, and medical care is nearly impossible to access. We've seen prices skyrocket:
•1 kg flour: 35$
•1 kg lentils: 15$
•1 kg pasta: 15$
•1 kg rice: 30$
Banks are closed, ATMs are empty. We are forced to rely on "blood merchants" who exploit our desperation, charging 40% interest just to access our own money. This means a kilo of flour, already exorbitant, becomes even more unattainable.
A Plea for Humanity: Your Support is Our Lifeline
We are running out of time. Our children cry from hunger, their bellies aching. They deserve to live, to thrive, to have a future free from this nightmare. Your support, no matter how small, can make a monumental difference. Every dollar can help us buy a little more flour, a little more hope, and a chance at survival.
How Your Donation Will Save Us:
•Buy food, clean water, and medicine: $300 feeds our family for a week.
•Pay for emergency evacuation: The borders demand impossible fees, but we dream of a safe place.
•Rebuild our lives: If we survive this nightmare, your support will help us rebuild.
Act Now: Donate, Reblog, Share

Not just a number, not just breaking news, not just a photo that passes by on social media…
I am a human being who once had a home, a life, and a dream.
The house my father spent years building was destroyed in a moment.
The war took everything from me—my family, my friends, my memories, even my soul that was once full of hope… now it’s fading. Today, I’ve been living in a tent for two years. In the summer, it’s fire; in the winter, it’s mud, rain, and a cold that cuts to the bone. But even that isn’t the worst of it…
Every day, I wake up to the sound of bombing and the news of someone I love being killed. Every single day, someone is gone. Every day brings hunger. Children cry from starvation. People dig through garbage to find a bite to eat. There’s no safety, no medicine, no electricity—nothing. We are literally dying a slow death.
I’m not asking for the impossible… I’m asking for a chance. A chance to live again, to rebuild, to make up for what was lost. I’m asking for humanity. I’m asking for help—from your heart.
If you have even a grain of mercy in your heart, please help. Help me stand again. Even a small donation brings us hope, reminds us that someone out there still cares.
Help us live. Help us not to die silently.

Weam's dreams of attending university came to a halt after the start of the genocide in the Gaza strip, and she and her family have been displaced many times ever since. Her mother needs medical care urgently as she suffers with a slipped disk from sleeping in tents for so long, and with the situation in Gaza at the moment, the only way to provide her with the attention she needs is by travelling elsewhere.
Please consider donating if you are able to, and spread Weam's campaign as well. Don't be afraid of talking about it outside of the internet, either! Educate your family, your friends, your colleagues, because the families in Gaza depend on your voice.
