and i get it. i donāt agree with it, but i get why truscum are the way they are. they really want to be recognized as valid by cis people and they may feel shorted or jaded that some trans people dont have similar experiences to them and that those experiences may come across as easier but they are not. coming from someone with dysphoria, who is on hrt, we donāt have it harder, we just struggle a little more in a different area. just as non-dysphoric trans people have their struggles unique to their experiences.Ā
and im tired of seeing non-binary erasure. iām tired of seeing people claim pronouns are gendered. they are not. do certain sets get correlated to one gender or the other in a massive way? yeah. but letās work to undo that. everyone should get to be comfortable with their identities. let men use she/her and women use he/him. let nonbinary people use both. let people use none. letās let everyone pick what makes them feel best and honor that? why wouldnāt we want that...
itās so confusing when i see anyone try to claim that this... that gender or pronouns or anything are just intrinsic parts of nature and like math, where there isnāt room for more than one right answer? itās more like poetry, like a free flowing set of words someone threw onto paper and that everyone can read and take their ownmeaning from.Ā
