I've had the idea for a Stargate inspired tarot spread based on the gate addresses for a while now and I wasn't having much luck fine tuning the design until now. Now, as everyone knows; when traveling in a three dimensional space you need six points of reference to find your destination and a seventh point (where you are now) to chart your course. I'm not sure yet on what each of the reference points should symbolize, if anything (I suppose it could vary depending on where you want your destination to be) but the basic idea is: When you're traveling from Point A to Point B without knowing just where Point B is, the reference points will show you the exact location. There are also eight and nine card variations but I'll have to think about those. Maybe it could be: the seven card spread is the immediate future, the eight card spread is the near/not too distant future, and the nine card spread is the far future/your Destiny (Yes, that is an SGU reference). I'll draw something up when I've perfected the design. Maybe that'll explain it better.
