I like the idea of a small battery powered flash that can fit in small spaces. Die letzte Wiener Gaslaterne. 🏮 Am 27. November 1962, wird in Wien-Hietzing in der Sauraugasse 28 diese letzte öffentliche Gaslaterne gelöscht. Jetzt steht sie neben dem Park des Schlosses Schönbrunn 🏰 und brennt wieder jede Nacht. 😍 Wir haben sie aber leider nicht brennen sehen. Aber halb so wild, in Berlin gibt es noch etwa 40.000 Gaslaternen. ☺️ Dort gilt für die wenigen verbliebenen Laternenanzünder noch immer das Motto: "Leiter raus, rauf auf die Laterne". • • The last Viennese gas lantern.🏮 On November 27, 1962, in Vienna Hietzing in Sauraugasse 28 this last public gas lantern is extinguished.
