It’s not often that I feel the need to publicly pay personal homage to somebody, but on this occasion I feel a little different. To my eyes, Gary Burden was one of the most pioneering album artwork designers that we have ever seen, somebody who appeared to be led whole-heartedly by vision, from the bed rock of music. It is with heavy heart that I have heard of his passing.
