Garrance gives me the ick ‘cause they’ve always felt like a close bond like brothers to me. They’ve got each other’s backs, they’re silly goofy and they love each other but idk I just don’t see them doing any of that in a romantic sense. And maybe I’m a stickler for canon or something, but the fact they called each other brothers in Diaries cements that in my head. ‘Cause it checks out!!! And that way it’s all three of them, Laurance, Garroth, And Dante in their unique little brotherhood found family/chosen family yk????
I see where people are coming from, especially in Mystreet, but when people talk abt Diaries Garrance that’s where I draw the line personally. I don’t like it. They’re like brothers.

I don't ship Garrance. I don't see the interest in it. Lately, Aphblr has been flooded with Garrance art and the art itself is amazing, I'm just tired about it being the only thing that's there besides a few other things I'm not a fan of either.
I love their married couple dynamic, it's really funny, and I love how much they grew to care about each other. I wish Laurance had a bit of his character back in Mystreet for better chemistry, and I wish MCD wasn't so text-heavy to better feel their close relationship. I just don't see the "romance", and I think most people hyperfixate on it because it's two hot men kissing.

i never shipped garrance, even with how much it was shoved in my face. im a real one:tm:
i only "shipped" it because my best friend (then girlfriend) roleplayed as our discord server's primary garroth and i was the server's primary laurance, and 80% of the server members shipped it. curse my 12 year old want to be popular causing me to act out fanservice in a discord text channel!!!!
anyways instead of that i will be in rarepair hell shipping laurance with rylan and garroth with travis, because i joke shipped them and then proceeded to accidentally make them work in my mcd rewrite, whoopsie daisy

I have something to confess that will probably get me dog piled on main. I do not like Garrance. I know, I know, that is this fandoms number one gay ship. I don’t like it, i don’t think it makes sense and i don’t think they look cute together. I was born to ship litearly any other gay ship but am forced to act like Garrance is the best way lest i be called homophobic like i have been in the past 😞
