 a frown glazes over her thin periwinkle lips , feeling completely shriveled .  her only honour & life had been lied down towards that her majesty ; that she  wished to serve for as long as she lives - while yes , the renegade pearl   of the CRYSTAL GEMS intrigued her . . .

    “..Are you attempting to make a fashion statement? "

ℓᵃᵖᶦˢ ℓᵃᶻᵘᶫᶦ – ( DID YOU EVEN WONDER WHO I WAS  ? )

     she turned her head to the FUSION  before her.

❝   —WHAT DO  you want  now  ? .  .  . you already took       everything from me----!!     ❞

‘What gem would I be? If I were one, I mean.’

[ myrtle asks, looking over her shoulder. she’s sitting in   the laundry palm as she calls it, her legs hanging over   the side of the statue’s hand. it’s a long way down,   she thinks, glancing at the sand that’s so far away.   she looks up to the bright blue sky, wondering if she   should go in soon. a sunburn is never a fun way to   spend the weekend. 

       “Oh, Garnet, good, you’re already here.” 

    Rose offered the fusion a broad smile, stepping out of her room,     the glow of her gem fading and sealing the door shut behind her.     She was sure that Garnet already knew Rose was looking for     her, but had she been on a mission of her own, the wait would     have been much longer -- Rose was grateful that was not the     case. This was something she wanted to take care of as soon     as possible, after all. 

    “I could use your help on a mission, if you don’t mind.” 

    Though team missions did occur quite often, both she and Garnet     were known to take solo missions of their own. Garnet’s future vision     led her where she needed to go, and Rose... well, she had her own     ways of discovering what needed to be done, secrets she kept from     all of her team. 

    A thought occurred to her suddenly as she stepped onto the warp pad,     and she lifted her gaze once more to peer at Garnet curiously.
