“He betrayed us, yes. But that makes him ours to judge, not yours.”

"Oh hell no—he’s our lead to Blair!"

"And you, neonate, are obstructing Camarilla justice. Orion betrayed the Clan and the sect."

“He was half-raving, but what he said… it meant something. He saw things we haven’t yet.”

“And if we never get the chance to speak with him again?”

"He wants Orion’s research. This is no arrest—it’s a harvest."

“You’ve all done well. But don’t overestimate your place. And Orion’s fate is sealed—for better or worse.”

Strauss steps aside, signaling for Suzana to join him. She hesitates, then walks over.

“There is one thing I want to teach you… a forgotten ritual. A weapon. The Rite of Stone and Blood—used to create Gargoyles.”

“You’re serious? A real Gargoyle? Not just lore?”

“Not lore. A sentinel. You’ll need it when the time comes.”
