THE PINK SCARAB STRIKES!
The mask has a soul of the hero Click inside it, who can actually commune with the wearer and is REALLY unhelpful. She thought Click was a dumb name so she named herself the Pink Scarab and does anti hero petty crimes. Like stealing Tacos from a taco place. Or spraypainting butts on things. It lets her command a small army of bugs and also lets her create large shields. Her staff makes sparky electricity, and Click won't tell her how it works beyond that. She never steals money unless she's planning to give it to someone in need and she'll gladly help any like, seriously life threatening crime. Her morals are complicated. She's pretty corrupted by self satisfaction but she has a heart.
