Marguerite rolls her eyes slightly, just barely visible behind the mask.

“The masks exude an atmosphere, cher. They are not without purpose. Now, if you are quite certain you know where you are going, by all means- adieu.”

“Be a hell of a lot more interesting, that’s for sure...” Bruce grumbles to himself, though he wouldn’t be entirely upset if she overheard him. And in any case, he’s not wrong. What’s fun about coming here? It’s stuffy and weird and... so white. Plain. Where’s the life? “Atmosphere my ass. Unless you’re going for weird and unapproachable, in which case the masks are working perfectly.”

“Do I look lost?”

He shakes his head, vaguely offended by her question. Of course, he’s never actually been to the Luxe before, and he is a little lost, but that’s none of her business.
