Anger boiled within her. Stepping into the formal ball, the cadet immediately felt regret and embarrassment. Ganser had been successful in choosing an appropriate outfit for her. However, the distaste she harbored towards said dress nearly sent her head reeling. Her uniform required a skirt, but never had she been forced to wear something so...unnecessarily gaudy. Her brows were knitted in disdain, pulling at the fabric prison her legs were in. At least she could hide a good amount of items within it. Sice crossed her arms, scanning her surroundings. There were many more partygoers than she assumed would be at the ball.Â

Bright light illuminated her face as she checked the time on her phone. The fool was late. Well. Almost late. She turned on her heel, meeting eyes with her so called âdateâ. More like her cover.
