General

Gangjae thinks that both you having tattoos, and the physical act of you getting tattooed is hot.

If you’re undecided on a design you want, he helps you narrow it down and does his best to come up with suggestions. He has to agree that the art suits you, though. It has to be perfect. 

Of course, he pays for any work you have done (that goes for stuff like nails and hair too) no matter the cost.

He makes sure you’ve eaten and had enough to drink beforehand.

He doesn’t take you to someone he doesn’t trust or know personally.

To a certain extent, Gangjae will be softer than his typical self. But he’s only willing to go so far in public.

He threatens the person doing the tattoo (naturally) to be extremely thorough with hygiene and cleanliness. He says something to the effect of “You better not make my girl sick, or I’ll kill you.”

No matter the size or placement, he tries to get you to sit on his lap during at least a part of the session. He just can’t help himself, especially if you get a little bit squirmy under the pain.

Regardless, he sits close to you the whole time and monitors the artist to make sure they’re doing a good job.

There is a sick part of him that likes seeing you in a little bit of pain. However, he does not enjoy watching you actually suffer in any way. Gangjae has limits, particularly when it comes to you.

He’s encouraging for the most part.

“You’re gonna look so good, baby. Hmm, so good for me.”

“My perfect/pretty girl.”

Would probably combust if you wanted to get his name tattooed. He knows he doesn’t own you, and you make that very clear in your relationship. But he likes to pretend he does, and his name on your body really challenges those boundaries.

Gangjae is more into the aesthetic of tatts than anything meaningful or symbolic, really. But you just might be able to talk him into getting your name tattooed on him too.

Low Pain Tolerance

He lets you hold his hand, grip his arm, ball his clothes into your fist; whatever you need. 

He pressures the tattoo artist to allow you frequent breaks. He doesn't care even if it takes up their entire day.

He revels in any little whimpers or wines you make. Would never admit it, but he also thinks you squeezing his hand is really cute.

Gangjae will try to find some way to distract you a little bit, whether it be touching you, talking to you, asking you what you want to eat later, etc. 

He asks you how you’re feeling throughout the process, making sure you don’t feel faint or too overwhelmed. Though, he somewhat tries to pass it off as though he’s not actually that worried.

“You feel fine, right? It’s not too much?”

Though even if he’s trying to be nice, he still shows you a little bit of tough love. 

“Hold still, baby. I’m not paying for something you mess up.”

“Don’t tell me my girl is weaker than I thought. You can get through a dumb tattoo.”

Lowkey, he whispers much nicer things that only you can hear.

“Don’t think about it, baby. Just focus on me.”

“You’re okay.”

“Breathe.”

Medium Pain Tolerance

Your nervous system might do a little better with regulating itself.

That means you get the shivers every now and then. Gangjae gives you his jacket to wear and/or holds you closer if he can. Again, he finds your shivers really cute.

“It’s okay. You’ll feel better once the initial shock wears off.”

“Just wait a little longer.”

The bar for pain is set kind of high for him (obviously, after what happened to his face, etc). But he does try to acknowledge that not everyone has experienced the things he has. In fact, he never wants you to experience anything close to it. So, he doesn’t mind seeing you a little vulnerable.

“It’s not so bad, right? This is nothing.”

Gangjae feels more comfortable leaving you alone for a minute to go smoke or talk on the phone. He’s never gone for too long, though.

He makes you take a break when he feels like you need one, even if you tell him you’re fine.

Again, a little bit of tough love too:

“Don’t tense up like that, babe. Just relax.”

“This is what you wanted, I don’t know why you’re complaining.”

Leaves kisses on your hand or forehead when the artist’s back is turned.

High Pain Tolerance

In this case, it’s more likely you have a lot of tattoos or experience, so Gangjae sort of considers you a pro.

He’s not really worried and doesn’t think you need too much special treatment.

He makes commentary throughout your session about how well you take it.

“I think you like the pain,” he says with a smirk. 

“Look at you, not even reacting.”

He also starts talking you up to the artist, trying to make him jealous over what Gangjae has. 

“Yah, isn’t she perfect? You won’t find another girl like her in all of Seoul.”

“That face and that body; all mine.”

You can count on him trying to make out with you, making the artist’s job that much harder. It doesn’t take much for either of you to get worked up, either.

Even if you don’t need to take any breaks, the artist will probably take a few for his own sake. He’ll probably want to escape the awkward position he’s in while the two of you are practically moaning as he works.

If he’s being more behaved, Gangjae holds longer conversations with you, talking about “business” plans he has going on or venting about people that have been bugging him. 

He may or may not annoy you with his phone camera in your face lol. He likes to record, though, because he feels a sense of pride in you and how unaffected you are by something considered “tough”. 

He definitely sends the videos to his closer friends to try to make them jealous too.

Aftercare

He’s aware that sometimes healing a tattoo is worse than the act of having one done.

So once you’re back in the privacy of your own home, he lets his hard exterior crack a bit more. The softest side of him you’ll ever meet is in your house when it’s just the two of you without any of his goons around.

He takes a nice long nap with you and makes sure you’re comfortable. He wants you to lay on him. He probably lets you pick out something to watch too.

Gangjae orders your favorite meal and dessert. He even prepares it for you and cleans up after you.

Especially if you got a larger tattoo, or if it’s more out of reach, he washes and moisturizes it for you. He really takes his time and is careful not to hurt you any more than necessary. 

“Sorry baby, I know that hurts.”

“Don’t move. I’m almost done.”

If you got a lot of skin surface covered like a sleeve, he surprisingly does just about anything you ask him to, or even things you don’t.

But he won’t necessarily let you off too easily, you still have to cater to his needs too. He still expects a certain extent of physical intimacy.

Like I said, he finds your new tattoo really hot, and he has to dig deep to find some restraint. If he can get away with being physical with you, you better believe he’s going to try even while you’re still healing. 

Depending on the location and size, he’s a bit more gentle and careful. But if you tell him no altogether, he respects it. 

Gangjae also scolds you if you try to itch or mess with the tattoo while it's healing. He forcibly takes your hands in his and threatens not to let go till the temptation subsides.

He offers to take you shopping to get you clothes that show off or compliment the tattoo more.

If he leaves you alone at night to handle business, he makes sure you have everything you need and that you’re comfortable enough to sleep well while he’s gone.

After you're fully healed, expect him to be touching the area, kissing it, and being the freak he is lol.

place you were in, was like a old factory or something like that. gangjae is supposed to make a deal here or something like that. this was complicated thing. 

“are we going?” you asked, when pildo, and you stood by the corner.

“yes, but something isn’t right.” he looked around. “he is alone, where are his guys?”

“he is stupid person, i guess.”

“no it’s like-” 

pildo didn’t get to end what he was about to say, cause all of sudden bunch of men came, and get you. you tried to fight, but they were faster, and there was about 10 people. 

within a seconds, these men dragged you down, where gangjae was standing with his maniac smile. you used to like this smile, when you were at gym, but now it’s different.

“stupid police, why would you think you can catch me?” he was talking to you two. “but nice try. i’m sorry, but i think that y’all are going two feets under tonight. any requests?”

 he finally turn around, and your hearbeat speeded. the way he was looking at you, kind of bring memories, but also he kind of made you stressed. if he said something about past, or your real intentions it’s end for you, and choi mujin.

“wait.” he said, and run to you. he touch your chin up, and looked into your eyes, and then smiled. his crazy smile. “oh fuck! guys you see her?”

“isn’t it this bitch?”

“yeah, she is.” he agreed. “detective lee? you in police?” 

“shut the fuck up.” you said, while looking deadly into his eyes. he was really close to messed up your plan. 

“ah, i see.” he was laughing as hell. “let her go.”

“what?” his friend stood by his side, and you could only look at them, and the way they were acting was weird to you. “she is still-”

“i don’t want to repeat myself.”

 two guys came to you, and uncoff you. you didn’t wait long, to throw hans at gangjae, he won’t ruin your work.

“you fuckin jerk.” you have knife pressed slighlty to his throat. “i’m going to fuckin kill you.”

“you can’t honey.” he was cofident. “you don’t have guts to kill me. don’t be ungrateful. it’s me who helped you back there.”

“y/n, you know him?”

“no, i don’t.”

“my little y/n.”

“what’s going on y/n?!” pildo screamed, but fast enough gangjae’s guys took care of him, and he lost his track, and he passed out.

“i would never imagined that you “he pointed at you “would work in police. but i guess it’s not the main goal, am i right?”

“one more word, and i swear i rip your throat off.”

“as spicy, as always.” he looked you up, and down. “isn’t it your daddy? doing requests of your dad.”

“why you care?” you said. “aren’t you the one, who betrayed him?”

“maybe i am, but aren’t you too naive y/n?”

“what are you talking about, you dick?”

 he smirked, and your head spins. you couldn’t understand what he was talking about, and why he seemed like he was telling the truth.

“take of your knife off my throat first, and let’s talk.”

 you did it slowly, but still had a knife in front of you.

“start talking.”

“before i start.” he smiled. “aren’t you too mean for me? your beloved one, not so long ago.”

“it’s past gangjae.” you rolled your eyes. “can we forget?”

“no, we can’t. it’s cruel, how you forget who was at your side back then. person, who you promised love.” he looked at the sky. “aish, i remember how would you come to me no matter what. telling me how good i am. or do you remember how do you beat me?” this time, it’s you who smirked. “you won. i thought i’m going to kill someone, and it happend. by the accident, i killed one person.”

“because you were, and still are crazy psycho. no ones told you to kill him.” you smiled. “aren’t you weak? just because you lost in fair play, you needed to kill someone, to let out of your anger.”

“but aren’t YOU weak?” he said. “you loved me, and left me. why? cause you can’t or don’t want to accept it, that you love me?”

“don’t play with me gangjae.” you needs few breaths. “it was past.”

“so what? you don’t even know how much i was hurt.” he smirked. “now i can kill you, and you ass partner.”

 you didn’t know why, but it kind of brings back everything you two had. four years ago, when you father dropped you there, was rough. everone was mean to you, and looked at you down, casue you were only female there. being called “bitch” “whore”, and many other names was casual for you. you were there alone, but this lonlines, and this mean people gave you motivation to fight.  gangjae was the only one, who stopped you from slapping one of the boys. everyone was looking at you, and he helped you stand up. also, he give you his room, cause he needed to go to another, since he wasn’t the youngest anymore.

 back in this time, he was fine. but he went crazy, after choi mujin kicked him out for killing a guy without reason. before they kicked him out, you two get closer to each other. he would sneak into your room in the night, and he would talk with you, tell you jokes, laugh and be with you. he also was your ring partner, and often you were beaten up by him, or he was beaten up because of you. it was cool, but everything goes to the end.

“leave him alone. he doesn’t do anything wrong.”

“oh yeah. he didn’t.” he agreed. “but you are doing something wrong.”

“what?”

“i cuff her again.” two guys did it, and you were trying to fight, but they pushed you on the ground. gangjae came closer, and put your tag pendant around your neck pushing you to him. “any last words, my kitten?”

“just kiss me, your idiot.” you were suprised that you said it, but it was your desire at this moment. you can kill him other day. “and then i’m going to put your balls in your mouth, bitch.”

 he was laughing like crazy. “we’ll see who would put whose balls into whoose mouth. it’s sad, that i’m going to do this way.” he kissed you with passion, and you catch yourself dive into kiss. “you don’t even know how much i missed you.”

 he stood up, and set the ground on fire. he, and his guys get into cars, but before he got into car, he looked at you once again. they left. you were panicking. fire was getting bigger, and you were alone, cause pildo was behind you.

  but fast enough black car appeared, and your father show up. he helped you, and your parnter. he was kind of worried, but he didn;t say much. he just save you, and left.

 you were already uncuffed, and you helped pildo, when he was getting on track.

“what happend?”

“he wanted to set us on fire.”

“you know him.”

“i do not.”

“but he was talking to you, like he do.”

“he is psycho, aren’t they acting this way?”

“it was weird.”

“i know, but i don’t know him for real.”

you were standing in gangjae’s club. two days ago, you had photo sent to you by postman. it was your birth certificat with surname; jeong.you have never seen your birth certificat, and this picture made you suspicious. you agreed on the meeting, because you were curious of what’s going on.

“i see you’re alive.”

“told you i’d kill you.”

“don’t be mean.” he was on his way, to touch you, but you stepped back. “ah, jeong hyejin.”

“i am not jeong hyejin. choi hyejin, you idiot.”

“are you sure tho?” he was cooky abou this.

“stop playing games, and just tell me.”

“haven’t you wondered, why would your father sent you to us? to gym? or that you don’t know your mother, or don’t remember anything?” you were thinking about his words. “or that he involve you in police to catch someone?” your hearbeat was fast, and you get pices together. “i don’t know if you already know how, but girl i got the feeling that you know now.”

 you were confused, it can’t be truth.

“you are lying to me.”

“i am not, kitten.” he smiled. “once, taeju called me into choi mujin office. when i was going to left i heard his conversation with mujin. they used you.”

“what the hell, gangjae? i know that you are snake, and you the most horible person on earth, but making this up-”

“you don’t have to believe me, but i have never lied to you.” he touch your face, and few tears were in your eyes. “your parents were his friends, and he killed them. when you were 5. he took care of something that you wouldn’t be rememver anything.”

“oh my god.”

“you are looking for man, who want to get rid of liber, and choi mujin organization.”

“why would you tell me?”

“cause risk is high of you getting catch, and i love you.”

“you wanted to kill me.”

“it wouldn’t kill you. i left three of my people to get you out of fire.”

“i need to go.”

“mujin would kill you. he surely do.”

“why?”

“cause if i’m alive, he knows that i can tell you.”

“don’t care about me.”

“i can’t.”

“listen. i’m done. i’m stressed, and cofusen and you-”

 you couldn’t end, because gangjae start kissing you. he get his tongue into your mouth, and you for a moment forget what’s going on. his hands on your body, and your hands on his checks.

“if you’d kill me, you couldn’t have me like this.”

“i thought we hate each other.”

“no more.” he said. “i want you to stay by my side.”

“what?”

“i can help you get rid of mujin.”

“but..”

“i don’t want anything. just stay with me.”

 you knew you were fool for staying with him, but you have never stopped loving him. you just hide your feelings deep inside, because that’s what choi mujin taugh you - never involve feelings into work, cause it’s always ends bad.

You were writhing in your lush bed in the middle of the night, desperate to find a position that could relieve some discomfort as you laid alone.

Staring at the ceiling of the dimly lit room, tears escaped the corners of your eyes and all you could seem to focus on was the menstrual pain radiating throughout your body. Your head ached and cramps forcefully took over your midsection, the heat of your skin adding to the impossibility of rest. 

The atmosphere of the penthouse had been silent up until now, though it hadn’t done you any favors. You could hear beyond the closed bedroom door, down the hall, that Gangjae and some of his men made it home. Turning on your side, you tried to block out the noise. But it wasn’t long until your boyfriend reached your room and entered with heavy steps. 

Any given day of the week, Gangjae came home late or not at all. You got used to his lifestyle over the course of the year you had been together and were often asleep long before he traipsed into your shared bedroom. He had the tendency to wake you up, seeking another high to prolong the night. 

He shuffled out of his jacket and pants, tossing the clothes onto the leather couch not far from the bed and joined you in it. You felt the dip of the mattress, a pleased sigh coming from Gangjae as the cool satin sheets invited him in. His hands dipped below the covers, sliding up your thighs and settling on your hips.

“I’m back, Jagi,” he said quietly, easing you out of sleep carefully as he pressed kisses to the side of your neck. Or so he thought.

You were facing away from him, vision blurry as you glanced at the city lights peeking through the curtains. He couldn’t see that you had been awake this whole time or that tears streaked down your face. So, his hand traveled beneath your shirt and found its place on your chest.

Normally, you didn’t mind being woken up by Gangjae being all over you. You relished the attention from him, as you seldom got the interaction with your boyfriend that you craved. Especially during the organization’s busiest weeks, sleep interrupted by sex was sometimes the best form of intimacy you could hope for.

But before he could take it any further, you found the strength to say, “Please. Not right now, Gangjae.” There was an edge to your voice that he picked up on right away, figuring that you must have been crying. While he had grown to accept that you sometimes didn’t want to have sex, he found your refusal to be a bit dramatic in this instance. 

“I barely touched you,” he scoffed, getting out of bed to turn a light on. Once he saw your face, he realized that you had been crying for much longer. He also noticed the sheen of sweat on the exposed parts of your form, settling back down next to you as he gently pulled your shoulder back, opening you up to him. 

With a slightly easier tone, he asked, “What’s wrong with you? Did you take something? Someone hurt you?” Perfectly reasonable guesses coming from a drug lord. Although, Gangjae knew how you felt about drugs, and he doubted that anyone would dare to touch you. They’d be dead before the sun came up. 

“No, none of that. Don’t worry about it, okay?” you sniffed. He could tell that you were exhausted, but wasn’t satisfied with the answer you gave.

“I asked what’s wrong with you.”

“Really, it’s nothing. I just don’t feel well. I’m sorry.”

“Are you sick or something?”

Frustrated and in pain, you whined, “Don’t you get it? I don’t want to tell you. Guys don’t like hearing about it.”

“I don’t get it. So stop fucking around.” 

As you laid on your back below him, he watched your eyes screw shut, more water leaking out of them. While he was annoyed and had gotten a little worked up at the fact that his night was taking an unexpected turn, he was still concerned for you.

It took him a moment to register the implications behind your mention of ‘guys’, and it eventually dawned on him. He realized it could only mean one thing.

“Is it your period?” he questioned. You said nothing, wishing you could just evaporate and not have to have this conversation with him. Gangjae took your silence for an answer, sensing your embarrassment. “It’s not a big deal, Y/n. It’s just a little blood. But I can’t help you if you don’t open your mouth.”

“I’m sorry,” you say again, though you were relieved by the change in his demeanor. 

He huffed and muttered a low “quit apologizing” as he laid down and pulled you into him, your warm back flush with his bare chest. The scent of cigarettes and cologne emanated from him while his arms wrapped around you in a comforting embrace. He ran his hand back and forth along the curve of your waist, asking “Want me to tell Seojun to get you some medicine? Did you eat?”

“A little,” you sighed. “Had some rice, and an egg. Took some pills, but they’re not working.”

“Where does it hurt? Here?” He gently touched the area just below your stomach. You nodded, trying to take a steady breath so you wouldn’t start crying. “Here too?” Gangjae moved his hand to rest on your forehead.

“Yeah.” Your response was weak, so cute he almost wanted to laugh.

“Where’s my tough girl, hm? It really hurts that bad?”

“Yes, Gangjae.” He heard the tremble in your voice, signaling that you really were about to cry again if he kept teasing you. 

“Arasseo,” he couldn’t help but chuckle slightly, turning you so you were facing him. “You’ll be okay. Let’s sleep. We’ll take care of you in the morning.” Morning for Gangjae was about 2 in the afternoon, but you appreciated the sentiment.

He tucked your head under his chin and situated both of you to be comfortable, but not before placing a couple of chaste kisses on your cheek.

Suddenly, the room didn’t seem so suffocating anymore. The pain was bearable now, and you didn’t feel like crawling out of your skin. In his own way, Gangjae managed to help.

“Ya.” Feeling your soft breath against his tattooed neck, he tried to get your attention one last time before letting you drift off. “Tell me you love me.”

It was something you always said to him before bed, but he reveled in the praise whenever you gave it. Knowing he was loved by you empowered him the same as being feared by the ring. 

“I love you,” you whispered.

He smirked, finally closing his eyes. Even if he didn’t always say it in words, he loved you too.

Admiration (what he adores about you)

If you date Gangjae, you have to be someone who is strong willed and confident. He adores that you have an attitude that takes no shit from anyone (that includes him.) He loves that you know what you want and that you’re bold enough to take risks and go get it. 

Body (his favorite part of your body)

Everything, really. But when it comes down to it, your hands are what he’s the most drawn to. If you’re expressive with them when you talk, he finds that really cute. He likes to play with them when he’s deep in thought, or kisses them when he has fucked up and owes you an apology. 

Cuddles (how he cuddles / likes to show affection)

Since he’s not the best with affectionate words, he’s more physically intimate. He likes getting in people’s faces and putting his head against theirs; but does so with you in a more loving way. He gets handsy, petting you all over and holding you at the back of your neck to kiss you.

Dates (what his ideal date with you looks like)

Gangjae takes you to one of his clubs and spends time alone with you in a private booth. It’s important to him that you see and enjoy one of the places he’s involved in. You two drink and talk about anything and everything. Usually, you end up sitting on his lap and making out.

Excitement (what excites him / how he acts when excited)

He gets excited when things go his way and his plans to exact revenge start falling into place. Also; when he makes a lot of money. It’s a thrill he wants to share by physically riding out those feelings with you. So, expect a longer night of intimacy if he’s had a particularly triumphant day.

Fear (what he is afraid of when it comes to your relationship)

He’s scared that you’ll be a target of one of his enemies. His subconscious is really the only part of him that exposes that fear, though. He often has vivid, graphic nightmares of you being killed and wakes up in a panic. Sighing, he holds you tight, willing himself to forget what he saw. 

Gifts (how he feels about gift giving / receiving)

He buys you anything your heart desires; clothes, shoes, bags, cars, etc. He thinks that giving you things compensates for his absence a lot of the time. If you give him a gift, he kind of pretends he’s unimpressed with a simple “thanks” and a small kiss, but secretly cherishes it.

Hand Holding (how and when he likes to hold hands / how much pda he’s willing to show)

He likes to hold hands more when you two are alone, since it’s a little “sweet” for his public image. But most of the time, he prefers to have an arm slung around your waist, shoulder, or secured on your hip. He will show any amount of PDA to prove a point. That includes sex lol.

IInjury / Illness (how he acts if you’re hurt or sick)

Pretty much described in this fic. He’ll be concerned, and his worry will turn into frustration if he doesn’t know how to help you. If you’re hurt or sick, he’ll be more gentle. He thinks kissing might comfort you, or show you he’s supportive at least. “I’m right here, Jagiya. I won’t go anywhere.”

Jealousy (how he handles it if / when he gets jealous)

Gangjae has a superiority complex and will just laugh at first. But he’ll get mad at “them” and inadvertently at you. He’ll curse and do something bold like putting a cigarette out on “them”. Then, he’ll remind you and everyone around who you belong to, by whatever means necessary. 

Kisses (how he likes to kiss you)

Grabs your jaw and pulls you into him, kissing you deep and feverishly. Sometimes, especially if he’s not showing off, he’s more soft about it and makes you look at him with his index and middle finger under your chin. Eventually, he cups your cheek while kissing you more slowly.

Love Language (how he shows he loves you)

Mostly physical touch… cuddling and sex specifically. He’s a big dumb man who has a hard time expressing his love in other ways. But he likes quality time too. Sometimes he says “fuck it, I’m not going”, or “come out with me, I’ll make sure you’re safe” just so he can be with you.

Memory (his favorite memory with you)

Earlier in the creation of his empire, your relationship started just after he was kicked out of Dongcheon. Gangjae’s face was barely healed, and he was insecure about the scar in the beginning. But on your first date, you kissed his cheek and smiled as if you didn’t notice it at all.

Needs (how needy he is / how he meets your needs)

He needs you to tell him you love him all the time, it makes him feel powerful. Sometimes he has to ask, sometimes he doesn’t - depending on how good he has been to you. He genuinely tries, though, to not be an ass. “Pick a day, and I’ll go shopping with you. Just us, I promise.”

Oddity (a quirk he has that you noticed)

Gangjae has a boyish quality, like he never fully grew up and didn't have much of a childhood. So, he enjoys things like video games, comics, and movies. He likes to have you around when he’s taking part in those things. You’re the only person who gets to see that side of him. 

Protection (how protective he is over you)

When it comes to him, there’s a fine line between protection and possession. He genuinely wants you to be safe and makes sure that he or someone else is always watching out for you. But a lot of his “protective” efforts are excessive, like not letting people (even friends) talk to you. 

Quality Time (how he likes to spend time with you)

Even though it’s his own fault, he really doesn’t get to see you that much. He knows his lifestyle is extreme, so he keeps it simple and comfortable when you spend time together. You sit in his lap while he plays video games, and he basically has servants catering to you the whole time.

Romance (how romantic he is)

Typically, Gangjae’s approach to romance is: money can buy it. He buys you big flower arrangements and fancy chocolates. He can’t walk into a nice restaurant, so he hires a chef some nights. Is also a charmer when it comes to praise. “You’re so perfect. So pretty. All mine.”

Secrets (how open he is with you)

He doesn’t tell you much. His signature line is “don’t worry about it” if you ask where he’s going or what he’s doing. Mostly because he doesn’t feel the need to explain himself to you, but partly cause he truly doesn't want you to worry. He isn’t always truthful, but rarely intends to hurt you. 

Time (how you met / how long it took you to get together)

Once, a guy at a bar wouldn’t leave you alone. So, you saw Gangjae and pretended he was your boyfriend. He played the part well, bringing you close to him and spitting at the man, “Do you wanna die?” It took a month of texting and meeting up to convince you to date him for real.

Upset (how he acts when you’re upset)

He wants to figure out who made you upset and punish them. If you’re mad at him, he distances himself and lowkey gaslights you because you said you “needed space”. But really, he gets so stressed that you’re mad at him and counts the seconds till you cool off and come find him.

Vaunt (things about you he is proud of / how he shows you off)

To be real, he is most proud to show off your appearance. Gangjae loves dressing you up in expensive things and bringing you places where he is recognized cause he knows you’ll turn heads. As highly as he thinks of himself, he practically worships you, his prized possession. 

Warrior (how he feels about you fighting)

He feels more at ease if he knows you are able to protect yourself. But at the same time, he worries that you’ll get into a situation that is more than you can handle. He knows that fighting in the drug ring is especially dangerous and would rather you stay away from it entirely.

X-tra (a random headcanon for him)

Gangjae would think it’s so hot if you have tattoos. If you don’t already, he would encourage you to get some. He’d go with you and make sure they treat you nicely, letting you hold onto his arm and talking to you to distract from the pain. “See? Not so bad. It already looks so good on you.”

Yearn (what he does when he misses you)

He practically drowns his sorrows. If he’s in a position where he can’t see you or you’re not talking to him, he makes himself forget with drugs and alcohol because it’s easier than missing you. Even while intoxicated, he orders people around to make sure that you’re safe and okay. 

Zzz (what it’s like to sleep with him)

This is where you are most often met with the softest version of Gangjae. Not all of his days are easy. He comes home very late or not at all. So when he gets sleepy in bed with you, he doesn’t want to let go. If you try to get up, he drags you back down with a secure hold on your waist.
