Episode 14 (Did you know that The Boys&Friends often can be spotted in the header pic? Sometimes it's quite obvious, but today it's very hard because they couldn't enter that part of the town. Can you spot them?)
The overnight ferry brought Jack and Jeb to Gammelvik in Nordhaven, where Jacks houseboat lies.
It's still early and Jack thought it would be a good idea to set up a sales table at the market, to sell Jeb and Francine's wares. From what Jack knew, Jeb didn't sleep well last night on the ferry, if he even slept at all. So Jack was a bit worried, that was the second night in a row. He offered to bring Jeb to the boat first so he could get some sleep, but he declined. Saiwa's betrayal still stung to deep.
After they set up the table, the goats joined them. They still didn't know how that portal in Francine's basement worked, but Jack thought it maybe was like the transporter in Star Trek. The portal probably sent the little ones to a target location and back again, he guessed. Jack was happy to see Jeb thaw up a bit while caring for his little goat. He was still not completely on board with leaving Francine all alone in her house, but she was right, Jeb couldn't have stayed after all that had happened there with Saiwa, and he agreed that this pilgrimage would be doing Jeb good - he'll make sure of it.
After a few hours, they'd sold a good bunch of Jeb's wares, for a price that kicked Jeb out of his gloom for a while. Though he was happy they could send Francine the money to keep the house, he also realized how much dealing with Jeffrey had cost them. But Jack wouldn't let Jeb spiral further downwards: "Hey, what do you think, Francine packed your workbench, can we make more of this? We're already almost out of stock." Jeb wondered how Francine had managed to plan and pack for all this after that crazy night and he felt bad he caused her additional troubles by being so weak. . . He'd do anything to get her back on her feet again and make her life easier: "Sure."
Eventually Jack closed the stand and while Jeb sent Francine the earnings of the day, he decided to go fishing for tonight's dinner, to save money. Which also helped Jeb to ease his mind and not think a lot about Saiwa. . . .
Such a peaceful place so close to the town's hustle and bustle. Jack remembered how much fun they had when Jeb tought him to swim and he persuaded Jeb to give it another try, so he wouldn't forget how it goes ^^'

They were both tired and hungry now so they finally went to find Jack's boat, their home for the next few weeks.
The boat was quite big, but the cabin was tiny! It was only supposed to fit for Jack alone. Jack: "I know what you think, but we are going to make it work, hm?"
They set up Jeb's workbench. It would keep him occupied until Jack grilled the fish they'd cought.
The delicious smell of grilled fish and lemon wafted over the deck, and soon Jack called Jeb up for dinner. They looked at each other and smiled. They were utterly tired, but they had a feeling they were going to be fine and Jeb would find healing on their journey.
The radio was playing 'Beautiful Sunday', and it really was.

Jeb couldn't help but notice that Jack was already wolfing down his second serving: "You really like your food, huh?" Jack: "Mompf nom njompf!" (='You have no idea!')
The mood got damped again when they entered the small cabin. Jeb: "There is only one bed." Jack: "Don't you worry. I sleep better on the floor anyway. I have this super soft blanket, I'll just change in my wolf and we're fine, ok?" Jeb sighed: "Ok, but don't scare the goats." Jack: "Pinky Paw Promise."
And so they took a quick shower in the tiny board bathroom, changed in their sleapwear, brushed their teeth and spent their first night on the boat.

These Goats! I can't believe how far they run off within mere seconds o.o Jack somehow left his little goat in Innisgreen (Jeb's was still in his inventory as always, weird) so I had to place a new one from the buydebug, but it didn't show up in the relationship menu and I had to go searching again...
The sun sets really early in Nordhaven. It's summer and it's already getting dark around 6pm?
I was sad when I heard that there won't be any more packs for The Sims 4. Even though I hated The Sims 4 from when I'd seen the first pics after it was announced and I couldn't wait for it to be over rather sooner than later, somehow it grew on me and because the Boys also started their adventures in the Sims 4. After that crazy buyout, I expect nothing good for the Sims franchise and knowing we never got cars, bands, spiral stairs, diving. . . or houseboats is a shame. So I'm excited what I can achive with Jack's boat on their journey.
