We are looking for a Game Designer for our top down shooter game Alicorn Princess Blast; do you have the skills for the job?

With the date for our early access demo of Alicorn Princess Blast drawing ever closer, we are seeking a Game Designer for our game! We are looking for an individual with one year experience in game design and is familiar with the basic elements of game design. Additionally, we also need you to be an individual with working knowledge in Unity3D, and someone who displays effective written and verbal communication skills.

What is our game about? Alicorn Princess Blast is a Top-Down shooter in the vein of Galaga or Sky Shark designed to emulate the joy and intensity of early arcade shooters while also providing a challenge for a modern audience. Players will journey with the Princess through the Shimmering Isles as she takes to the skies, and together will defend her homeland against the encroaching forces of the Fearmonger and his minions.

Hello, Ludric Here!

We've hit production for our project! It's time to stop theory designing and to start actually building the thing! Here's what we can say about what's happening next.

In the coming months you will see some screenshots and videos from us as we produce another vertical portion of the game! Things are going to be hard this time around though due to a number of reasons. Mainly that we all are busy with a lot of other things in our personal lives. some of us have full time jobs and the rest of us are still students! I'm a graduating senior so most of my time will be spent doing my portfolio. This won't effect your experience though with the game play experience though. I say this so that you know whats going on in the background a little bit.

I can't tell you the specifics of what we're going to do in this new version of the game but I can say that from a development standpoint, we completely redid our system to match the feedback given to us from friends, family and all of you who are watching us! We're more confident now than we were before that we'll be delivering something that will build on the prototype we released.

We discussed numerous possibilities with the game as well as this team of friends - which has grown a lot sense Everfree! So during the development of this game there might be some surprises you may see from us along with those screenshots.

Tentatively, the release plan is to have something of a full fledged demo out by April. It's a very tall order considering that it's during the school year. But we have a few tricks up our sleeves to help us get there!

Introducing Horse Apples! A card game wit ha familiar flavor! We've been working on this game for a few months, coming up with cards and testing them to make sure the funny is still there. Relive the glory of each season and comic issue with hilarious situations and questions that fill this very deck! This game is available for free right now online at the Horse Apples Page! So download and print those instructions and try to hold in as much laughter as you can while playing. The game comes with an instruction document that has the basic rules and the decks as PDF files!

We'll also be showcasing this game at the Everfree Northwest convention in July where you'll have the chance to acquire a more fancy looking deck of cards to show off to your friends!

So something we're going to try to do every so often is post updates on all of the goings on when it comes to what we're doing behind the scenes...well all that I'm allowed to tell you really. Without Further adieu...

Horse Apples:

Horse Apples is a game we've been working on for a few months, we've had a couple of play testing sessions and got a lot of good feedback!

Right now we're implementing the feedback and we're on schedule to have it available at Everfree NW!

Crystal Games Challenge 2014:

We're currently in the process of checking our terms and conditions to make sure that everything is on point. Last year we had a little kerfuffle with the Terms and Conditions that nearly got us in trouble! Well we're going to be especially thorough to make sure that nothing weird happens again this year. We'll be releasing the registration form after we're in the clear!

Our secret project is chugging along. We're hopeful that we'll be able to have it ready in some form at Everfree Northwest this year!

We will be hosting two main contests: One for the worst holiday sweater and the other will be for you to show us your pony collection!

For the Worst Holiday Sweater, all you need to do is share a picture with us of you either in the past or present wearing a horrible holiday sweater!

As to the Show Us Your Pony contest, just take a picture of your pony collection! Whatever it may be, drawing or figurines, however they're set up, just do it!

Winners will be announced on Sunday the 22nd at 9:00 AM EST!

Attention Gamers, Bronies, & Brony Gamers!


Our show, “Bluescreen Bronies” is hosting our second annual charity drive, this year's charity is “Child's Play” with a goal of $3000! To accomplish this we will be streaming live 48 hours of gaming, interviews, and musical guests beginning Friday, December 20 9PM EST continuing through Sunday, December 22 9PM EST. This time we'll have help from the Gaming Colts (http://www.thegamingcolts.com/) and Omnigamer (http://www.omnigamer.com/)! Guests like Anneli Heed, Josefina Hylen, Laura Shigihara, Chris “Kirbopher” Niosi & the TOME Cast, Amy Keating Rodgers, and more will be joining us as well as some great bronies and independent studios, such as Starlight Studios and Legends of Equestria. There just so many wonderful people that are attending, we would like to extend our thanks to them. In addition, there will be scheduled prize giveaways at both random and regular interval which include, but are not limited to, SteamCash, video games, random prize packs, and more!
