I'm honestly just so disappointed with Nintendo again. They had the same tiny little area as last year, with one screen were they mostly played Paper Mario, some Pokemon Trading Carts or something and a display with all the Amiibos (just like last year as well). No new Sun and Moon trailer, no new Pokemon revealed, they didn't habe ANY SaM stuff, not even some posters or cut outs or anything. And I didn't even get a code for the shiny Pokemon, they only handed them out on Saturday, yeah, there were barely any people there the other days, totally reasonable. There was also a tiny, special area for the three people that actually got some Zelda News. I don't even know what they had in there, did they get to play a demo, just watch a new trailer? I don't know anything! And because they only let literally a handful of people in, there weren't even many discussions about it! Other companies only let some people at a time in, as well! But normally, you can always find someone who bothered to stand in line, to talk to! They'll gladly tell you about it and you can have some nice conversations with complete strangers! That's whats so cool about Conventions like this. But of course I didn't just so happen to run into one of the 3 people, who had been allowed in! Maybe they thought this ridiculous secrecy would fuel the hype, but it honestly just killed it. They didn't even display some gameplay footage, let alone NEW gameplay footage, they had NOTHING. Nintendos booths this year were even more disappointing than last years, if that's even possible. And the new four "Breath of the Wild" Amiibo that were displayed for everyone, really didn't do it for me. I adore Nintendo, they were my first games I ever played and I still have a lot of love for them. But they are running out of good franchises. They've run StarFox straight into the ground, at full speed (I've been waiting for YEARS for a new one and THIS SHIT is what I get? Especially after the last one also kinda sucked!) And Metroid is apparently dead, too. Other M was pretty bad, Federation Force is frankly just a slap in the face of all Metroid Fans, they didn't even MENTION the Anniversary as far as I heard and when the frustrated Fanbase created their own remake, they send their lawyers. I feel like they barely ever release any titles in the first place, let alone for some popular franchise, LET EVEN MORE ALONE an actually GOOD one. Mario Galaxy will only sooth my anger for so long and I'm honestly quite certain that for the first time in my life, I will not buy the new Nintendo Console.
