I ended up uninstalling sso, I do not trust GameGuard and I do not wish to see it installed on my computer. Itโs not a decision Iโm happy with, but the security of my computer weights heavier then my need to play sso.
Dose this mean the end for me and sso? Perhaps, but some more time and research is needed before that decision can be made.

I did more digging into GameGuard cause I saw concern about if its safe or not, and honestly the general consensus is that "its not inherently *unsafe* and it hardly does its job as an anti cheat"
Now, I'm honestly not like *happy* about it, especially since apparently its a pretty piss poor anticheat system *anyways* and then on top of what it does have access to on your computer its still not like *fun to think about*
I hope SSO takes different steps honestly? Like I don't like the idea of what GameGuard does to your computer, but the argument can be made that "a lot of games use it so maybe its ok"
Alternatively the argument can be made that "just cause lots of people use it doesnt mean its good"
